"A kiosk awaited us with a man from a foreign country to check us in, as we waited and talking to the human behind the desk. We were asked to give our CC information to the front desk for incidentals. We had already booked and paid for the rooms for 4 days. It did not feel right, so we bailed went on down the road to another hotel next door. Sorry, but when I have to wait my turn at trying to decipher what the kiosk fellow was trying to say, as the desk clerk just stands there and makes us wait is a little much. Oh well to each their own."
"The breakfast included in the stay was a joke. They had 2 kinds of cereal and a couple of prepackaged muffins(not 2 kinds, 2 muffins). It was evident that the juice machine had been broken a while. They had a jug of milk and Sunny D. So if you are looking for. A place that includes breakfast, and this isn't what you want, I'd tell you are better off laying a little more and getting a real breakfast.
The room was "clean" however the decor is really old, some outlets didn't work, and the (non-smoking) room smelled like someone had chain smoked in it.
When we asked for more pillows at the front desk, the clerk acted like he didn't know where to find them."
"The general areas (halls, elevators, lobby, etc) are worn, dated, and dingy. The bathroom had broken tiles and the door was partially painted in two different shades. When I entered the shower and pulled the curtain shut, a washcloth fell down. I assume it was up there from the previous guest. yuk! In addition, the beds were noisy making it hard to sleep. The breakfast was not satisfactory with powdered eggs. The staff was very nice and friendly, especially the check-in clerk."
"As an economy hotel, it was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. And I loved having two sinks in the bathroom and vanity area. It made our trip much more easier to accommodate our needs.
To be aware that when you exit off of I 35 go to the east. Google wants to send you to the west. The easiest way to find it is Google the closest Subway restaurant. It is right behind that restaurant."
"The staff were all very helpful and friendly… HOWEVER…. The room appeared clean at first. The floors are not carpeted, which is ok until I had walked around the room barefoot a while. I sat down and looked at the bottoms of my feet and they were literally black with floor dirt/grime. It was disgusting! I had to take a shower before even thinking of getting into the bed. When I went into the bathroom and shut the door THERE WAS A USED BATH TOWEL HANGING ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR! These things made me nervous that anything else was properly cleaned and all linens were fresh. I fully checked the bed and bed linens before going to bed, and they seemed ok. The small frig and microwave were clean. I wore flip flops anytime my feet touched the floor after that and left as soon as I got up the next morning! They need to be more thorough and careful about cleaning and when you have bare floors sweeping is not enough! IT’S CALLED A MOP and floor cleaner!!!!! I will NEVER stay here again!"
"The creamer was right next to the machines. That was very hot. They were not cold at all.And should have been kept near a cooler or in ice.
You have to hold down the toilet handle in order for the toilets to flush.
The beds are extremely high hard for those who have artificial joints.Such as I to get up in there. And stay in bed.
The building itself is in major need of an overhaul of repairs. They kept the refrigerator unplugged and the air conditioner off instead of prepping the room for a visitors.
Then, put a sign on the mirror pretty. Please, please, please.Please.Please and plug all appliances.Turn off the air conditioner and lights before leaving.
Econo lodge would do a great service in regards to not putting their name on a building. That is not maintained and kept in high standards.
The gazebo looks like the wood is rotted and would be considered a hazard.
Although the swimming pool was covered for seasonal.I imagine it still is warm.It had looked like it was in disrepair and not safe.
I did have a cup of coffee. However, one was enough breakfast was not appealing"
