This is a very run down hotel. The decor is stained and dirty. The door are splintered. The bathrooms are dingy with dripping taps. Outside the hotel was dirty with weeds and with evidence of drug users. The breakfast is good and the staff friendly but the hotel needs a serious renovation.

It was ok, but a bit shabby. The shower screen was inadequate which meant the whole bathroom got wet whenever anyone had a shower. We had a family room, but the layout meant it was very difficult to get from one side to the other. There weren’t enough spaces to hang up towels or clothes from, so it was messy. The breakfast and staff were great. I would give them both 5 stars.

Getting tired

This hotel is getting tired and needing a refresh, don’t understand why when you stay more than one night Scandic hotels almost never refill the tea/coffee/milk/sugar, I know Norway is an impoverished country ;) but with an executive room and price maybe an extra tea bag could be provided.

Had a lovely w/e, but I won't return to this hotel

Overall, the hotel was a good place to stay for our long weekend in Oslo. Conveniently located near to a major tram/bus stop that gave us access with minimal changes to the majority of the city. The hotel staff were excellent and all very friendly and the buffet breakfast was exceptionally well-stocked at the weekend but less so on weekdays. The quality was good overall, but I did get the feeling that some of the produce had been put out repeatedly for a few days by the end of our stay. In the room, things were less impressive. Upon our arrival, I was informed that we'd been upgraded from the '1 Queen size bed' room that I'd booked. What we received was a twin bed room with the beds pushed together. There were twin duvets and due to slippery floors, the beds would inconveniently slip apart during the night. There was not enough storage in the room. There was no tea/coffee in the room which was a shock to someone who relies on an early morning coffee to get the day going. However, it's not listed in the hotel website that it's included so worth double checking. The only tea/coffee available outside of breakfast is from a machine (paid for) in the lobby. Other small points, the towels were tiny and thin - I'm a big chap and struggled to be honest. The escape routes map was missing from the back of the door. The shower screen was poorly fitted so that water collected on the floor and there was no plug for the sink. In summary, I won't be returning to this hotel.

Struttura centralissima e pulita , senz'altro ne terremo conto per tornarci, colazione ok..unico neo, l ultimo giorno visto che i miei figli hanno severi problemi di allergie, avevano bevuto solo latte, abbiamo fatto un panino con prosciutto a testa , ci sono stati chiesti 8 euro che abbiamo pagato senza alzare alcuna polemica. Forse questo comportamento poteva essere evitato da parte loro visto quanto sono state pagate due notti.

Trevligt hotell med mycket bra läge och stort rum för vår familj. Däremot saknades AC på rummet (endast lite kyld tilluft) vilket gjorde att vi var tvungna att sova med öppet fönster (och öronproppar då det låg en nattklubb i närheten) eftersom det var värmebölja när vi var där. Väldigt bra frukost!

Besviken vistelse på Scandic Solli

Vi valde detta hotell eftersom de hade parkering. När vi ankom till hotellet visade de sig att de inte kunde erbjuda oss någon (de hade endast 13 platser). Han i receptionen skrattade åt oss när vi påpekade detta. ”Haha trodde ni att ni skulle ha parkering i Oslo”. Oprofessionellt och förminskande. Vi behövde parkera i ett p-hus nära hotellet för 480 nok/24h. Detta var en väldigt oväntad och otrevlig överraskning. Vi fick ett rum på 5e våningen. Det fanns två hissar och den ena kunde inte åka upp till våning 5, pga en trasig knapp. Rummet i sig var helt okej. Lite äldre hotell som också är märkbart. På kvällen gick vi till receptionen för att fråga vart bastun fanns som vi tidigare läste om. Till svar fick vi ”jag vet inte, är inte säker om vi har någon bastu”. Vi fick leta på egen hand och hittade den efter en stund. Borde personalen inte veta detta? Det enda positiva vi kan komma på är att frukosten hade iskaffe, vilket är ovanligt, men uppskattat. Skulle inte rekommendera detta hotell. Främst pga den obildade och otrevliga personalen.

Väldigt varmt på rummet. Tror inte att aircondition fungerar och golvvärmen på badrummet går inte att stänga av. Hade varit bra med en minikyl på rummet. Rent men litet och lite slitet rum. Bra utvalg på frukost. Men kall varmmat och lnte så trevligt att äta i konferenslokalen. Hade skrivit att jag önskade parkering när jag bokade. Men fick ingen återkoppling och det var fullt i garaget när vi kom.
