There are no words to justify it, a person must experience the place to understand how sublime it is, if you cannot relax there then you will never have a chance to anywhere else, the Spa varieties, art touches and scenery is fantastic, the staff is outstanding

The service was excellent…all the staff was friendly and helpful. The spa area was huge, clean, modern, and inviting. The spa services were excellent as well. I would recommend staying at the hotel for the 3 night package…It allows for early access to the saunas and pools and to take your time to explore.

Beautiful hotel and spa.

Beautiful hotel and spa. I don’t like that I wasn’t allowed to wear my swimsuit in most of the sauna s and steam rooms. Even after I purchased their swimsuit. This spoilt my trip this time because I wasn’t aware of it last time and used the facilities. The only downside of a fabulous spa.

Disappointing for a Luxury Hotel Our stay at this highly awarded luxury boutique hotel and spa was underwhelming, especially given the high prices and accolades. While it had some highlights, the experience didn’t match expectations.  The receptionist was curt, failing to provide basic info as elevator directions or spa hours. Housekeeping disappointed too: we received only 1 towel instead of 2 on 2 occasions, some towels were dirty, and we had to request toilet paper as it wasn’t refilled. These lapses were surprising for a hotel of this caliber.  The hotel’s setting is beautiful, surrounded by trees, creating a serene vibe. Our room’s forest view was stunning, but the room itself was small with little storage. Poor sound insulation near the elevators meant we heard corridor noise. Breakfast had a no-smartphone rule, but it was unevenly enforced, with some guests using phones openly without staff intervention. The spa is spacious with varied saunas, steam rooms, and a lovely outdoor area. However, used cups and trash littered the space, and some pools were closed for sanitation. Rule-breaking groups of young males brought phones and wore bathing suits in non-bathing-suit areas, disrupting relaxation. Our massage was decent but marred by parking lot noise. The poolside bar food was fine but pricey.  Despite a beautiful setting, the staff, inconsistent service, and soiled facilities didn’t justify the cost. The experience fell short and I wouldnt recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at the well. So relaxing and really embraced the digital detox. Would encourage anyone to try out the sauna experiences on offer. Breakfast is great, the food/drinks in general are nice if a bit pricey. If concerned about the nude spa please don’t be they have swimwear and cover ups that can use, although this does carry cost. Overall a great stay, one thing to note is that If like us your flying in to Oslo TORP transport is expensive. The train is fairly easy but then need a taxi from Oslo centre which can cost up to £80-90 pounds for 20 min journey so something to consider regarding budget.

Big, beautiful, stunning spa hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel and the spa is huge and excellent. A downside is that swimwear is optional and if you want to wear swimwear you need to buy it from the spa, I have no issue with that but then when I was in the spa, there are some saunas and steam rooms where you aren’t allowed to wear the swimwear. This seems unreasonable. I was given the reason that it was unsanitary, but if I went on Tuesdays then swimwear can be worn. Why are they sanitary enough on a Tuesday ? This seems unreasonable and unfair after the expense of buying a swimsuit. This was my only fault with an otherwise, exceptional spa and hotel.
