"It's outrageous that Aloegrove has a rating less than 5 stars! If you are driving to Etosha or back from Etosha, stop at Aloegrove, and stay two nights. Aloegrove is a decent drive off the B1, but it is more than worth it. Johan and Ivy have build a marvellous lodge with Comanding views over the surrounding countryside. The luxury suites overlook the Waterberg plateau, and have an unobstructed view from the hilltop that Alloegrove occupies. The rooms have views of the plateau from the bathroom...

"Probleme mit Check-In. Wir mussten Hotels.com kontaktieren, weil die Unterkunft meinte, dass die keine Bezahlungsbestätigung von Hotel.com bekommen hatten. Sonst müssten wir doppelt bezahlen. Es war stressig und nervig, dass wir, als Gast, uns um die Kommunikation zwischen Hotel.com und der Unterkunft kümmern mussten. Sonst war das Zimmer sehr schön, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war auch gut und vielfältig. Die Fenster hatten keine Moskitonetze und sie waren nicht ganz dicht....

"We had a wonderful time at Waterberg Wildness. We stayed in the Valley Lodge. Note that there are several different lodges all a few km apart. We enjoyed a self-hike and also did the game drive offered. It is guaranteed to see rhinos as they live within the farm/reserve itself. We also saw giraffes in the park. The plateau itself has excellent views. The evening buffet was good, although not extensive (beef and chicken and veg) because there were only 4 tables. All the staff were very...
