Clean, comfortable room that had been updated. Breakfast options were good for a continental breakfast when staffed/refilled but 2 of the 3 days we stayed there were many empty dishes and far too many people in the small breakfast area.

Comfort Inn Ottawa East
Having a nightlight in the bathroom is a nice touch. It would be nice to have skin moisturizer, but not a deal breaker. Fridge and microwave are good too.

Lord Elgin Hotel
Upon arrival, we were graciously provided with early check-in. We were also provided with a room upgrade; which enhanced our Anniversary getaway. Hot tub, pool and gym was a nice added touch to have. Highly recommend Lord Elgin versus any other hotel in the downtown Ottawa core!

An amazing experience on all levels. We will definitely stay there again. The 4th floor was well worth the extra cost.
