Lord Elgin Hotel
A lovely classic old hotel, albeit one in the midst of significant renovation. That said, surprisingly good value in an expensive hotel city and very well located for anything you might need in Byward Market, University of Ottawa and downtown/Centretown.

Unfortunately there was no heat in the dining room. Needed a blanket to sit through dinner.
