"We had to wait over 2 hours after the 4oclock check in time for the manager to open the office. He comped a night for our trouble. The building is old and dog eared. The room was not overly clean, but we lived with it."

Our expectations of "dog friendly" rooms at hotels or resorts are typically low. We excpect a room that smells like wet dog & cleaner. The patio with a view & the grass outside for potty time was the cherry on top! Well that & all of the accessibile restaurants & whale watching spots nearby. We actually booked two nights later at the SCP Redmond Hotel, because the Depoe Bay location was so great! Our roadtrip was epic & we were thankful for a clean & cozy space to relax."
