"Room was clean but the tv kept going out. Breakfast was very minimal and there was not even hot water if you brought your own tea or oatmeal. The floors/ceiling are thin so you hear everything from upstairs."
"Fitness center was clean and well supplied with aerobic and strength equipment, had disinfectant wipes, two sizes of towels.
Room was very nice but the early riser above our room was evidently trying to get their 10k steps in the room..."
"A unique hotel, kept very well. Everything is clean. The rooms are spacious. Eating dinner in the dining room was our good fortune — delicious! We will return."
Isle of Capri Casino Hotel Boonville - A Caesars Rewards Destination
2/10 Terrible
"Stayed here for a wedding along with most family members and guests. The day of check in only one elevator was working. That same day the second elevator also went out of service. The staff would take people up the service elevator but you sometimes had to wait for an extended period of time. If you choose to use the stairs you had to walk to the other side of the building to access them. It was a huge inconvenience that seemed to fall on deaf ears. There were pregnant women and elderly people that were going up and down stairs some to the 7th floor. Never seen an elevator service company on site (checked each time I went out for a service truck) For being owned by Caesars I feel like the Isle of Capri Casino Hotel dropped the ball or just didn’t care. When asked to talk with someone about the situation was told I would receive a call. It’s been almost 12 hours and nothing yet. Just called and spoke with the hotel supervisor and she informed me she had a meeting with the GM and since they still had clean rooms and access to the service elevator (15 minute wait at times) they would not or feel like they need to do anything. Per the supervisor it was a “FREAK OF NATURE”. Still trying to wrap my head around this one. In my opinion this is very poor customer service. My advice would be you never know when Mother Nature may take out both of and only public elevators so before booking maybe call and check to see if they are operational. BOOK WITH CAUTION"
"I booked it online based on the price and availability. I booked it a few minutes from pulling in. From the outside, like the pictures online, it seemed okay. Maybe not the nicest but we needed a room as we were traveling. I walked in with our small children and was blown away. It was awful! Very dirty, smelled like mold with old broken and stained furniture in the lobby, Because we had our kids they wanted to check out the pool so we did and it looked like a dungeon. I'm not even sure if it was in service. We turned around and walked out. I called the front desk and was polite and didn't want to be disrespectful to their place so I said that I rented it in error, which in my eyes I did because if I knew it would be in the shape it was I never would've booked it. They lady I spoke with said that I needed to call Expedia. When I called the gentleman I spoke to seemed helpful and said he would need to call the hotel to see if they would approve a refund. Evidently he spoke to the same person I did because she remembered me calling. She denied my refund. It was so bad that I didn't stay even though I was required to pay for it. We ended up driving 30 mins to Warrensburg and staying there. We had a MUCH better experience there. I would highly recommend moving down the road if this hotel is your only option!"
