"The property was unique in that our bedroom window was next to the train that passed by throughout the night. What was not exceptable was the host was not at the property to give us an orientation. The orientation was in an email and not available to your guests without the internet. We were left to fend for ourselves. Our experience was less than positive, yet memorable. "

Unfortunately in Expedia they don’t mention the real deal of things so here it goes I went with my partner and we noticed a very strong smell of mold we had to open the windows there was no air conditioning so as you can see it gets very hot there so we had to buy a new fan we couldn’t stay with the windows closed the smell was very strong. "Beautiful high end hotel. Great breakfast, live music at bar, very comfortable bed and room. Beach club included and infinity pools looking over water and city! Great experience. Only issue is you need a taxi as 2/3 mile from train station. 16 euros. Would be nice if they had complimentary shuttle. Besides that we will return for sure! "

"The Carrick Hotel is well-located at the southern tip of Camogli. It's a short walk to the train station and the beach but it is on a quiet edge of the road. The staff is lovely and very helpful. The breakfast each morning is delicious and the rooftop is beautiful! We had a wonderful stay."

"Fantastic staff. Very nice and helpful. We spoke Italian but they are fluent in English as well. Very accommodating and plenty of suggestions if needed. Didn't get to use spa but nice breakfast each morning , good espresso and you can walk to virtually anywhere in town. Close to boat rentals as well. Will be back when we visit Rapallo again"
