"The suite is huge and we really enjoyed the fireplace. The courtyard/dining area is very beautiful, surrounded by azaleas. Breakfast and dinner were great. The house is a bit hard to find, especially as google routed us on farm roads that didn’t exist."

"We stayed at this dar for one night. The welcome was very friendly and we were given every assistance whenever we needed anything, even when buying a carpet ;-) What we didn't know beforehand was that this is a listed dar, which means that only limited structural alterations may be made. This is great, as it means you can see and explore the dar in its original form. However, it also meant that the shower was not in the room but in another room. "Plenty of secure parking at the hotel and very easy to check in - the welcome drink was excellent and very refreshing after the drive from El Jem! The room was clean and spacious, and the WiFi worked well in the hotel. The dinner options were very good and the breakfast (included) was excellent. They were happy for me to leave the car on site after checking out for the rest of the day while I explored Kairouan before my evening drive up to Enfidha Airport. The hotel is well located, easy walking distance to the mosque and the main attractions in the medina. I’d recommend for anyone visiting Kairouan."
