"The stay there was generally great. Good view from the accommodation, quiet and good breakfast. Service is nice, and efficient through WhatsApp. Only one issue is the last night of my stay there are termites. I know that they are not harmful, but the wings and worms dropped on my baggage. I don’t know if there are efficient and sustainable way to avoid this or not. Guess it might be a common issue living in old buildings. Overall, Ouro Preto is so nice, worth coming and living for some time."

"Unbeatable location, great view, excellent food at the restaurant (I don’t usually eat at hotel restaurants, but I ate at this one four times during a three-night stay not counting breakfast). If you’re interested in architecture, Oscar Niemeyer designed this place (which was a delightful surprise that I didn’t remember seeing in the description), and they seemed to have maintained it in mostly its original design. It felt like being able to stay at the Paimio sanatorium by Alvar Aalto. Very cool. My only complaint was that breakfast is supposed to start at 6:30, but that’s just when they start putting it out, which meant I couldn’t have anything the last morning before my 7:00 bus."
"This place is absolutely amazing! So much charm!! It has everything you need for the perfect weekend getaway, while giving you a feel of being in the perfect country cottage. The entire property was clean and the every member of the staff were so nice and accommodating. It's far enough away from the main plaza that it's quiet and peaceful, but close enough that you can still enjoy everything the area can offer. One of the best places we have ever stayed and hope to be back very soon! (It looked exactly like the pictures.)"
"Fantastic location for easy walk to town and sights. Beautiful historical property. Bed has all of the creaks and sounds of its age but mattress very comfortable and got a great night's sleep. Angelica took very good care of us. Excellent breakfast. Parking a challenge if arrive mid-day but in the evening we found a spot very close to hotel."
"For the price the property is decent. The bed was comfortable and coffee and pastries are served for breakfast. Expect no heating during the winter months of the southern hemisphere as it can be cold. "
