"on the beach, nice location.but week before memorial da, considered off season.tiki bar not open.aviator restaurant,horrible, well below hilton standard. you have to pay for coffee, you have to pay for breakfast,no happ hour,no drink specials,food needs a complete make over, to get up with the times,seafood not on menu on the beach!!! shrimp and grits, with no grits, way over priced.now in fairness i took m dog, but was only offered room cleaning once.i took out the trash 5 days in a row.again no offence,but ordered a blood mary one morning,no vodka,no celer,no olives, tomato oiuce, thats it.staff is training,all from the phillapines,hotel need a good manager and a revamp"

"The stairs and deck going over the sand dune are a mess. The handicap ramp has at least six inches of sand on the turns and the stairs down to the beach are almost totally covered with sand. The deck at the top has two orange cones because there is a hole in the deck. It is Memorial Day weekend and the start of summer so I would think out door maintenance would be much better than it was. Our deck definitely needed the railings and ceiling sanded and painted. It is a wonderful location but the exterior definitely needs attention. The windows in the lobby are so cloudy and need cleaned and the interior stairwells could use some air freshener. After saying all that will we stay there again. Of course. Location. Location. Location."

"We had an amazing stay. Staff was friendly and very helpful with any questions about the area. The rooms were nice and comfortable, has everything you need, a mini fridge, microwave and Keurig. plenty of channels to watch if the weather keeps you inside. Beach is less than 5 minutes away. There is also a pool to enjoy (which we did when the sand was too hot to walk on) plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend Mia's!"

"The staff was wonderful, especially the 2 front desk ladies who waited on us and the female staff member who did all the work for the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was very good and much appreciated for the amount of food and the variety offered and the hard work of the female staff member. We stayed in the newer hotel but it still could use some updates such as the air-conditioning unit. I thought the mattress was uncomfortable, too firm for my back. I think hotels are purchasing the bed in a box and the cheaper ones are not very comfortable. The location of our room was awesome because we could walk right out to the beach. You couldn’t ask for easier access and a better view! The best and most convenient thing that happened was they allowed us to check into our hotel two hours earlier and that was much needed since we had been traveling all night. We really appreciated that! Overall our stay was nice and affordable and we would probably stay there again. Thank you!"

"First time getting a room with the kitchen at this property typically we stay in the towers. Was told it has the bare necessities for kitchen. As far as silverware went there was one small spoon, one big spoon and one knife and one fork we asked for more and they said they were gonna bring it right over. It didn’t happen so the next day we asked again and they finally brought it and we were told he forgot. This our second time here we love this property. We love the location. Hot tub is nice and the pool. Everything‘s always clean. It’s a quick easy walk to the beach."

Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Nags Head Oceanfront

8/10 Good

"pet area needs to be lighted.It was totally dark except for 1 small solar light. Also the removal of pet waste was not upheld by many. Due to pet area being so dark, I had to report to the desk staff of a peeping tom. I also found that the cost of $10.95 per person for a buffet breakfast with powdered eggs and over cooked french toast was excessive."
