"A nice resort with wonderful friendly staff, we stayed for 8 days and they couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Food was in the main excellent, and the drinks options very good, cocktails from the pool bar are really nice. There were plenty of events to go to throughout the day and we really enjoyed the river tubing trip nearby. The Establishment over the road is a good alternative for a change of scenery, great food and prices there too. "

"Accommodation was excellent and reception staff we also excellent. Few staff in the Dining area were not very friendly. Also the bathroom shower may need to be looked at as the water from the shower head was going everywhere. "

"I almost don’t want to write a review because I want this hidden gem to remain a secret. The resort was amazing. Gourmet meals every day, world class surfing and diving, and yoga. We met other guests and they became like family. The resort employees remember your name. Tim the surf guide was extremely hospitable. Extremely knowledgeable and an amazing surfer. My family and I have been fortunate to travel to many places but this will be by far the most memorable experience. Thank you Waidroka!"

Phenomenally beautiful rooms, wonderful food, views and so many activities to choose from.bathe guides are so awesome and will make sure you stay safe. "Excellent choice in Pacific Harbour! I just stayed here with a group of 21 university students at the conclusion of a two-week trip around Fiji. The rooms are large, comfortable, and in an attractive setting, and the price point for these rooms is an excellent value. The restaurant/bar/pool area provides a delightful environment for relaxing during the day/evening, plus the various specials that they run every day make for a very affordable stay. Moana and the staff are very helpful. Prior to our arrival, they assisted me in adjusting my dates with no problem, and also reached out to me via whatsapp to see if our group would like to attend their Thursday Island Night/Fire Show (which we did and thoroughly enjoyed). Throughout our stay the staff was very warm and helpful, and assisted us with any particular needs we had. Uprising is also part of the Duavata collective, which promotes culturally and environmentally sensitive travel across Fiji. This was my first time staying at Uprising, and I am very glad that we did. In the future, I will continue to bring groups here, as it is a great base for the various activities (diving, tubing, golf, fishing, etc.) in the Pacific Harbour/Beqa area).
