Loews Hollywood Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I have to start out by saying I stayed at this location when it was the (Renaissance hotel) in 2003 and 2004 it was very nice then and the restaurant was on one of the upper floors and while dining you had a nice view of the Hollywood sign. With that being said , I was some what disappointed that the loews hotel moved the restaurant to the first floor with no direct view to this iconic view of the Hollywood sign. On our visit we asked to be moved from our first room because the first room was not very nice. We were then placed in a nice room with a city view, that had a nice clean spacious view! The bed was very comfortable and so was the bathroom. The staff was very nice and accommodating, the shower was nice and invigorating. The drinks and food in the restaurant including the breakfast was great! The location is a (A+) to Local attractions, shopping and restaurants. The only thing I would like to see at this hotel is a upgrade in style overall like lighter colors in the rooms earth tones /neutral colors and no displays of worn furniture or puckered carpet in the hallways . Overall our stay was great and I would return again and again! Grade! (9/10"

Sheraton Universal Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful location for Universal and Citywalk. Staff and grounds were amazing. We used the pool, hot tub, bar and restaurant. Good times!"

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort
8/10 Good
"This property is HUGE! Eight towers and 2,800+ rooms and it does a good job of not feeling crowded. I've been to places where you couldn't get in the pool, or there weren't and chairs poolside but that wasn't the case here. We never waited more than 20 minutes for a restaurant and enjoyed a $65 a night credit. The food quality was excellent and the portions generous. There's an entire malls worth of shopping on property and I didn't think the prices were overcharged. The staff were all friendly too. My room in the Diamond Head tower was dated and showing some wear but everything worked well; especially the air conditioner. My only con was that the ice machines on 6 floors were out of service. No big deal to go to another floor once I found a working one but it was quite the wild goose chase to find that one. I worked through my laptop for a few days there and the desk setup was good, with plenty of room and power outlets. Wifi was solid and fast. No issues hosting Teams video calls."

Hilton Los Angeles Airport
8/10 Good
"The room was so clean. I booked handicap room that the toilet and shower area was flat. When I showered the whole floor got wet. I meant very wet and super slippery. So please be careful to not to trip."

Prince Waikiki
2/10 Terrible
"This hotel was one of the most overpriced properties I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the goal was to squeeze every possible dollar out of guests. The mandatory resort fee was especially frustrating because many of the “included” amenities were unavailable. Museum tickets were listed as a benefit, yet some of the museums were closed during our stay. Charging guests for perks they cannot use is misleading. The on-site restaurant, 100 Sails, charged $89 per person for a buffet that largely catered to meat eaters, with very limited options for vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions. The staff were generally cold and unwelcoming, as if guests were an inconvenience. The hotel also has far too many rooms for the size of the pool and hot tub, making both areas consistently overcrowded. Twice during our stay, window cleaning crews worked directly outside our room, forcing us to keep the curtains closed and ruining the view we paid for. The hot water was also shut off for several hours. The most troubling experience occurred when we attempted to dine at 100 Sails. The hostess told us no tables were available, but then immediately seated two local guests who arrived after us. After I questioned what I had just witnessed, she suddenly found a table for us. The refrigerator in our room had a foul odor, making it unusable, and there was no microwave to heat our own food. Overall, this hotel is overpriced, overcrowded, and disappointing."
