"Nice hotel on the outskirts of town near I-64. Several restaurants nearby. The hotel has a large fitness area and indoor pool plus an outdoor patio area with fire pits. "
"Staff was very friendly. Room was clean but had a dank smell. Surrounding guests were quite loud and unruly throughout all hours of the day and night."
"If you are staying near New River Gorge, I highly recommend this hotel. Excellent staff, super friendly, very clean accommodations and breakfast was perfect. "
"I made my reservation online and provided a credit card to hold the room, but when I checked in, I clearly told the front desk associate that I wanted to pay in cash at checkout. She was very kind and assured me she would note it in my reservation and that paying cash in the morning would not be an issue.
Unfortunately, my experience the next morning was completely different. The front desk clerk on duty was immediately rude and dismissive. When I explained that I wanted to pay in cash, she told me that the payment had already been processed overnight and that there was nothing she could do. I calmly explained the conversation I had the night before, but she refused to help and would not even contact a manager, stating it was Saturday and she wouldn’t call anyone.

However, the initial employee continued to be unprofessional and even told me I should have handled it the night before—which I had attempted to do—and then went as far as telling me not to return or stay at this hotel again.
As a respectful guest who takes care of the places I stay, I found this treatment completely unacceptable. While I appreciate the manager resolv"
"Stains all over the place in the room, crusty stuff of chair and couch. Pull out bed from couch had stains on the mattress. Carpet was sticky and the toilet backed after just being flushed with no solids. The breakfast was mediocre at best, but you get it for free."
