"Lost Pines Resort is a sprawling resort that’s family friendly with lots to do right on site. Tucked away well off the main road it sits right next to the Colorado River and has fun activities planned everyday throughout the day and you’re always welcome to join. From roasting marshmallows over the fire with others to just testing your own axe throwing skills to having a leisurely day on the “lazy river” (IYKYK) there is something for everyone! Was there attending a wedding and it was the perfect venue for such an event. Friendly staff and hearty breakfast buffet made the stay all the better."
"Clean room, quiet, convenient location, safe. We stayed many times for our mtb races and we always had a good time. Food is not very good, that is the only drawback. Pool is also pretty small. But it is a reasonable choice if you want to contain your budget."
"I stayed at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Bastrop, Texas, on a weekend in August 2026.
The check-in process went smoothly; and, the young man at the front desk shared some laughs with me and other guests arriving.
The motel os located next to a gas station, the highway, and Bastrop State Park. Stores and restaurants are nearby.
There is a pool with tables, chairs and a grill. Breakfast on-the-go is included.
My room was very clean and freshly painted, however, there is a pest control issue.
There were no other issues. It was a quiet night's rest. All of the staff was friendly, the bed was very comfortable, and the pool was somewhat secluded and inviting."
"The air conditioning was amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean but did find bugs near the air conditioner and in the shower. Aside from the bugs everything else was great but i do HATE all bugs so this was a little disheartening."
"Even though under renovations, everything was clean, staff very helpful, accessible ice and vending machines, and breakfast bar was great with eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins etc. I love the Hampton and would recommend this one."
