Really lovely retro/traditional styles property, the staff were really helpful and the location is really convenient. Close walk to shops 10/15 mins and location is basically on the beach. Can see the sea from the restaurant while you have breakfast which was a very relaxing way to start the day. Would love to stay again. Really good value for what we paid.

Traditional hotel right on the beach. Two pools and gym. Easy walk to the town. Direct on to the coastal path. Great staff, good food and drink. Plenty of parking. Dog friendly.

Excellent hotel
Didn't have the sterile feel of the chain hotels, felt more homely . No noise from outside and sited just far enough away from the town centre for comfort. All the staff were really friendly. Good breakfast choices. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay, we upgraded the room to a balcony seaview for minimal cost. The breakfast was excellent, staff were great, we didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked really nice. I would highly recommend this hotel

Lovely hotel
Lovely short break at a very pleasant hotel, comfortable beds and nice sized room. Bathroom was large with both bat and separate shower cubicle. The staff were really helpful and friendly, every one spoke to us and regularly checked that everything was alright. Breakfasts were really good with a fabulous full English for my husband and lovely porridge for me. Will certainly stay again next time we visit Paignton.

A classic hotel with superb sea views in between the land and sky , and with a real sense of history dating back to 1802. Good old fashioned friendly personal service and good quality food and drink. Don't lose it during the planned refurbishment.

Well worth a visit
Stayed at this hotel a few times and have always enjoyed the stay. Staff are friendly and rooms comfortable. Will be returning the next time we visit Paignton.

Great place to stay in this seaside resort
Friendly staff at a large seaside hotel. Some beautiful architecture around the building and I understand the new owners plan to enhance this. Good breakfasts and bar food. Enjoyed the swimming pool & steam room (sauna and jacuzzi not working). Used as a base to visit the area and had a great time. Will certainly be back.

Solo weekend in Paignton
Had a great 4 night stay at the Redcliffe, room very clean and all staff i interacted with were friendly and a nice to chat to. There was a ballroom dancing weekend happening at the same time as my stay so gave the place some added atmosphere as well. Only downside was my room was at the top of the stairs so did get quite noisy from passing guests/staff talking as well as someone hoovering at 6am. I guess i was just unfortunate with the placement of my room but it didnt spoil my stay in any way and would return in the future when in the area.

Fantastic Room
A bit oldy worldy around the hotel but the room. Was fantastic. Staff were excellent everywhere you went. Breakfast fry up was cracking, but the continental and cereal looked a bit sad plonked on a table in the middle of the room. Stunning views across the bay from the breakfast roo, over all a great stay.

Perfect Hotel
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Redcliffe Hotel and all the staff made us feel most welcome. The hotel was situated in the most perfect location, close to all amenities, with stunning views and plenty of parking at the hotel. The hotel was excellent, our room was really nice, so well organised, very clean, the food was delicious and we really enjoyed swimming in the lovely indoor pool. A huge Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful.

Perfect location in Torbay
Lovely, traditional hotel with lots of atmosphere in an ideal location. Room was clean and cosy, and the breakfast was excellent. Swimming pool was lovely and warm, but sadly the hot tub and other spa facilities weren’t working. Will definitely stay thee again.
