Definitely pre-book your tickets! Didn’t give 5 stars only bcos it rained and we couldn’t enjoy the Gardens ... so ‘wasted’ that full ticket

Far too busy - so many people in the palace which made it difficult to see in any real detail. Staff were miserable and not very helpful

Get a skip the queue timed entry ticket otherwise it was a two hour wait in baking heat ( Saturday- busy)

Very Busy - get a Garden Ticket. quick cafe in the gardens actually quite reasonably priced!

Go early to avoid queues albeit might not be possible. Take a brolley if raining or get soaked in the queue!!
