Hotel de la Cité Carcassonne - MGallery Collection
5/5 Excellent
"Charming "old world" hotel inside the medieval walled city. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. Enjoyed dinner at the hotel one night. Nice breakfast buffet. Loved sitting outside on the sofas with a cold glass of wine in the afternoon. "

"Wonderful stay. Boutique hotel with personalized attention from owners.
Delicious French breakfast in a beautiful garden setting. No elevators. 9 minute steep walk to the castle. Trivalle street where hotel is located is very lively and full of restaurants and cafés. "

"I liked:
The location, just before the bridge to the Forteresse, and with a nice overall view of the Forteresse from my balcony.
A large very nice room. The balcony with nice vegetation.
A really full buffet breakfast (North American style but with great croissants, etc)
Staff that were nice and helpfull.
I walked everywhere, from and to train station, to restaurants, to the Forteresse."

"Just book it! This is a lovely property, right at the foot of la Cite. It has a charming garden, patio and pool; and an excellent breakfast buffet. A little gem. The view out the window was stunning at every hour. The light here, whether at sunrise, mid-day or sunset, is stunning. In the morning and evening the temperature here is cool and feels delightful. Truly a beautiful spot. "

"The room was very spacious and had plenty of luxury features like a soaking bathtub. Mini bar was included and had water and orange juice. The pool was amazing too."

"Place was fantastic. Location beautiful. View excellent. Owner can seem brusque but he’s a teddy bear. Spa is extra charges so we didn’t take advantage of. "
