"I’m a firm believer that if you advertise bathtubs, you need to have the availability to use the bathtub.
I stayed in three rooms over three days, and not one of them had a stopper for the bathtub.
I kind of feel like this is false advertisement.
Other than that, location, staff, cleanliness, I really enjoyed staying here."
"Hacienda Puno is one block away from the Plaza de Armas, where there is a wide variety of great dining options. The rooms were clean, although there was a constant musty smell."
"Room a decent size. Things a little worn such as silicone around bath and stair carpets threadbare. Place could do with some updating. However breakfast is good as is location. I would stay again and recommend it."
"The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff provided excellent service. The public spaces were beautiful. The restaurant food was good. The only downside was the main city center is around a 35 minute walk or 10 minute drive from the hotel, which didn't bother us much at all. It was only about 10-15 soles to take a cab or tuktuk."
"We loved our experience! The family that runs the property is so kind and so helpful. The meals they prepared were wonderful. The views from the rooms were great and even though it got cold at night, the beds had plenty of blankets and there was a portable gas heater in the room so we slept very comfortably. If you want a true Lake Titikaka experience, I highly recommend this resort/lodging experience."
"We had originally booked for one night but the place was so stunning that we stayed for two. It truly is beautiful and you can watch the sunset over the lake.
The staff were also very good at accomodating our children for lunch and dinner as the can be fussy!
Included is also a tour of the Islands and our guide answered so many of our questions.
The only reason why I have not given 5 stars is because there was no hot water in our room. It would also have been nice at dinner to have been offered some drinks. We brought our own water from the room in the end"
"Nice hotel. A bit out of town but nice and quiet. The view of the lake wasn’t as good as I had expected despite paying a little extra for a lake view room"
"Very central hotel (just minutes from the main square). Very close to restaurants and bars. It’s also accessible to the port to visit the Lake. Very nice people. The bar and restaurant are on the 10th floor which has a great view."
