Room and bathroom were very spacious. Bed comfortable, shower one other best we had on our trip. Interior was a little dated but quiet for a big city like Palermo and the location near Piazza Marina and the Lungomare was great! One of the best restaurants in Palermo almost directly across the street! Breakfast nice and owner conveniently offered to take us to the train station instead of waiting for a taxi for a nominal fee.

This property is excellent all around. Martina and the rest of the staff were amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was exceptional and fresh, and the service was very good. The area around the hotel was excellent as the location was walkable to all the city’s historical and old town attractions. Plenty of restaurants and bars around the hotel within walking distance.

This is truly a family owned business. And if you stay here you are treated like family. It’s very comfortable and well located. Staff went out of their way to assist us on several occasions. Plus the cappuccino is amazing.

A great location and an exceptional host.

Fantastic, highly recommended, a great location and the lovely host Martina & family was just the best, as no request was a problem.. Palermo is full of history and wonderful historic buildings.

Amazing B&B, I felt like I was at home and part of the family. Martina, Antonio and Claudia did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. It’s close to shopping and great restaurants. I definitely recommend Al Piazza you won’t regret it!!

Great location

We had a little difficulty finding the property and communication was a little difficult prior to our arrival, but we worked it out. The location was good to walk the city, but was still pretty quiet at night. The family was friendly and we enjoyed the provided breakfasts each morning. The mattress was very firm and was a little uncomfortable after long days of walking, but the room was spacious and provided everything we needed.

Nice hotel with great staff

Well located hotel with lots of character and some quirkiness ( very decorated for Hallowe’en). Martina and her father were lovely and their hospitality turned a good stay into a wonderful one.

Helpful staff, spacious room and bathroom. Nice roof terrace. Lots of stairs and no lift, so not for those who cant climb steps or have tons of luggage. Good mini bar and transfer to the station. Easily walkable to all the central city areas.
