"The place was very clean and a lof of space. The staff were also very helpful and polite. My friends and I had a lot of fun. The only problem we had was the limited hot water which meant we had to shower in cold water sometimes because we couldnt wait for the boost button. However, overall we enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely go again some other day. "

"The townhouse was very nice. It's not very big, but more than adequate for the four of us driving around Ireland. We liked that it was a townhouse and not a hotel. So, there's a living room and dining room in addition to the bedrooms. There's also a small, cozy backyard. "Now, THIS is a hotel. Unlike my last stay (at the Moxie in downtown NYC) the Strand does not skimp on the amenities. The room was spacious and fully equipped, the bed comfortable, the service excellent. The location across the river is both extremely close to the heart of Limerick while not being stuck in the middle of it. I would not recommend eating at The River (the in-hotel restaurant) though. My meals were mediocre at best. But that's my only quibble. "
