"Rhonda and Chris were great hosts, friendly and helpful with where to go and what to do. We had 10 nights at the accommodation and used it as a base for getting out and about and being adventurous. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We ate in half the time so the kitchen was put to good use. The views from our room were fantastic overlooking the ocean which was probably only about 30m away. All rooms overlooking the ocean. Car parking was great with overhead cover. Palm Cove is a lovely quiet little resort with great cafes, restaurants and shopping facilities. Not too noisy like Cairns, unless that’s your thing. Compared to other larger hotels/accommodation in Palm Cove we thought the price tag for staying at Merlin Waters was exceptional value for money. Highly recommended."

"Very spacious and comfortable accommodation in an excellent location just a short stroll to the beach and a whole host of great places to eat or just grab a coffee. The walls are a little thin but luckily we had nice quiet neighbours and overall we really enjoyed our stay. Bed was very comfortable and the pool looked lovely though we didn’t go in. Outdoor kitchen was really useful."
