"We booked the 2 room villa for our stay. The larger villa has a good full size kitchen, with a large dining room table and outside patio, while the smaller villa has a small kitchenette and small dining table. They come equipped with cups, dinnerware, utensils, pots and pans. The pans were not good quality and our breakfast got stuck on every pan. The king size beds were VERY comfortable, with nice bedding and pillows. The pull out sofas were quite hard to pull out and the bedding sheets they provided did not fit the full size sofa bed. That was inconvenient as it slid off and only had enough space for just 1 of our kids to sleep on it. We rented a premium poolside cabana that included water for our guests. The sun was hot so it was nice to have the shade. You are permitted to bring your own food and nonalcoholic drinks. Our kids ate at the Agave restaurant and they mentioned that their food was not very good. I liked the fact that you could simply send a text to the hotel staff and they would promptly reply. The staff at the hotel are very accommodating. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there in the future."

"The front desk staff was ELITE! From a quick check in to the hospitality they provided upon arrival! The breakfast buffet was delicious and the man who was in charge of facilitating was so nice!! The housekeeping staff was extremely attentive as well! I wish I had names for those particular staff members who made my daughters and I feel extremely safe so they could receive their kudos!"

"I paid for a suite, but was placed in something called "The Billiard Suite." I specifically did not choose that room. It was our anniversary, and we wanted a larger suite with a couch and kitchenette. Instead, we ended up with a worn-out billiards table and paid an additional fee for a room we did not want. When we asked to move, the hotel said they were fully booked and could not accommodate the request. We also requested some form of compensation or credit, but were told they could not do anything because the reservation was made through CheapTickets. The hotel itself was nice, but the cleanliness and attention to detail were disappointing. There were wine glasses sitting outside a nearby room for two days, and hotel staff never picked them up. Little things like that made it seem as though housekeeping and general maintenance were not a priority. Overall, the property has potential, but the room assignment issue, lack of resolution, and cleanliness concerns took away from what should have been a special anniversary trip."

"We've enjoyed staying at this Palm Desert hotel for at least 20 years. Very comfortable rooms and a great outdoor pool, with shaded seating areas, all at an affordable price. Good breakfast in a spacious, light-filled breakfast room. We'll be back!"
