"What a little gem this is. Such a friendly and helpful staff! There wasn't a time we entered the lobby we were not greeted with a smile and "hello". Pool area is clean and the way they've placed the tropical plants and trees keeps it cozy and secluded in an urban area. It was clean, pool bar was excellent and bartender was so helpful with cocktail suggestions and answered questions about local eateries. This is an older hotel that Hilton outfitted in a simple yet clean way. The doors to rooms are nostalgic outside entry, but we had no issues with noise. There a bar restaurant that shares their parking lot, Geiko, it was very good, plus a Italian food truck just outside pool area. The breakfast is simple, nothing fancy, but totally acceptable. They offer cereal, vanilla yogurt with various toppings, bread, bagels, muffins with many toppings as well. Hard boiled eggs, fruit and juices, plenty to get the day started. The hotel offers 24hr coffee and tea. There are items for sale for snacks, drinks etc outside breakfast hours. The area is safe and plenty of lighting and we just overall were so pleased with out stay! Thanks to all the staff"

"If you need a clean and beautiful place to stay in St. Petersburg, look no further! My stay at Mint was absolutely perfect. Communication from the host was consistent and fast. Virtual check-in was super easy, and the location is right in the middle of some of the best restaurants in the downtown area. I spent my second day at the beach, which was only 16 minutes away. This place felt like a second home and had everything needed from in house laundry to utensils. Comfortable bed and super clean. I would stay here again and again anytime that I’m in Saint Petersburg. The only thing that I would say would make my stay better would have been on-site parking for less than the daily rate. You can park offsite, but you may have to move your car early in the morning, or late at night in order to avoid parking restrictions. It was a small inconvenience, but on-site parking for no additional cost would have been a little bit more enjoyable. Their front desk staff was so kind and helped me with anything that I needed. "

"I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share feedback regarding my family’s recent stay at RumFish Beach Resort in St. Petersburg, Florida. We traveled for a short spring break vacation and reserved two rooms, looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable experience. This trip was especially meaningful to us, as it was our family’s first vacation since my battle with breast cancer last year, and we had truly hoped for a positive and restful experience. I would like to begin by acknowledging the positives during our stay. The food we enjoyed at the resort was excellent. My husband commented that his steak at RumFish Grille was the second-best steak he has ever had—which, coming from someone who eats a lot of steak, speaks volumes. The bread and butter were also exceptional. Additionally, your hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would especially like to recognize the hardworking coffee barista who served guests each morning with a smile. The coffee and pastries quickly became one of my favorite parts of each day. We also sincerely appreciate your prompt and kind response in relocating us after we brought concerns about our initial rooms in the Mahi building to your attention. Your attentiveness and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly impacted our overall experience. The condition of the hotel property itself appears to require considerable attention and upkeep. "
