"The beach and restaurant are quite lovely as is the entrance to the hotel. We were taken through the hotel, out the back ally, up some stairs to a different building and into a large undecorated room with a large patio with no view. There was a party in the room above us all night that made it impossible to sleep. I’m sure it was once a lovely location but it hasn’t aged well. Best for young folks that want to party. "

"Owner is so nice and very attentive to any needs and helpful with local info. Very comfortable place in a great location making all of Tropea walkable including beaches. Had a great stay. "

"We loved our stay at Hibiscus with our 1yr old son. The lovely team gave us a travel cot, toys for our son and the animals (chickens, ducks, dog) were a hit with him! It walkable (even shorter drive with easy parking) to the beach, easy walk to town. We only wished it had a pool and it would have been even better but that’s our personal preference not an issue with the property. Would highly recommend staying here. Staff are so lovely"

"The Room itself was very nice and spacious. However, we had to park the car on the road which we dare not move incase there was no space when we return. We also expected a small outside area which the photos suggest came with the room. Tropea itself was hugely disappointing. "

"Amazing place , the garden area is beautiful. Is peaceful and quite. Beautiful SPA recently open , is like paradise ! The pool area is great with beautiful view and amazing sunset 🌅. Personnel very kind and helpful , they even allowed me to do a late checkout at no cost . Breakfast , lunch and dinner are top !! Delicious local food and some international food also . The only negative for me was the bed 🛌, too hard and difficult to sleep. Overall Highly recommend . "

"Sehr nette, hilfsbereite, zuvorkommende und unkomplizierte Betreuung. Vielen herzlichen Dank! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unsere Wohnung war im Bereich auf der anderen Strassenseite. Sehr ruhig und wunderschöne Terrasse. Einzig war auf dieser Seite der Anlage die WLAN-Verbindung nicht sehr gut. Am Poolbereich war diese jedoch einwandfrei. "We had to stay at this property unexpectedly after our other accommodations fell through and we discovered a gem! The owner greeted us and checked us in early upon arrival. She was so welcoming and helpful! The vibe of the property is chill and relaxing 😌 We enjoyed a wonderful lunch by the pool (they grow their own vegetables!) and a great dinner at the restaurant on site. My only regret was not staying longer! I 100% recommend!"

"Beautiful, quiet retreat just a short 5 min taxi ride into bustling Tropea. We had 3 rooms but some were much smaller. The resort is a retreat for peace. But note: no store on site, limited access to food only during meal times & the beach is a climb down, very small & no service only chairs & umbrellas. Still a great spot. Pool is beautiful!"
