"Very nice, clean, comfortable home. Updated in many areas. Very well maintained. Beautiful deck across the entire back, which overlooks the lake. Fire pit and bench down by the lake so you can relax or fish. Family-friendly. Thoughtful host. Left us smore makings and bug spray just in case. We didn’t need it. The only thing I suggest is a larger shower enclosure. The shower head was great. I would recommend this nice home and would love to stay here again."

"Room was very clean with no complaints. Bed pillows a little too firm for my preference, but that’s just a personal preference. The outside maintenance could use improvement. Yard area where old concrete picnic tables were located had some debris on the ground, including an old sold can, and chunks of broken concrete on the ground from a broken concrete bench. This was very unsightly and should be removed and cleaned up, Also, one of the guest rooms facing the parking spots was left open the entire time I was there. You could see the occupants inside the entire time I was there until bedtime. To get from my car I had to walk directly in front of their open door while they were inside talking and clearly visible to all passersby. Several personal throwaway items were on the sidewalk in front of their open door, including ear plugs on a string, cellophane wrappers, and what have you. No effort for the guests to pick these up, and their conversations were very audible to passersby. A more private and better maintained exterior would be a big improvement to this much older property. "

"Very nice, clean place. A/C in room was wonderful. Very quiet. Breakfast was good except the apple juice, orange juice and water all tasted like water. When I mentioned it to the staff in charge of breakfast, she just gave me a weird look and walked away. Otherwise, this was an excellent place to stay."

"The staff was nice, rooms clean, and bed fairly comfy. Halls were a bit dark and dated and there was a bit of a strange smell. My main disappointment was an unusable tv and lack effort by staff to remedy the situation. Only a handful of sports and religious channels would work; I reported the issue twice and they recognized there was a problem.but nothing was ever done to switch tvs or work with the remote to fix the problem. Instead the tv didn’t work for the two days we were there. Just switching tvs would have made us happy but nobody seemed too concerned about it - except us. In this day and age, a working tv is a minimum expectation in a hotel room."

"The main items appeared to be clean but you can see they do not move anything to clean under, nor try to clean corners, dropped some water on the carpet in room, put a small towel down to soak it up and the towel turned brownish. I assume they never shampoo carpets. After that I knew everything was dirty. Wore my socks minimum in the room The elevator doors were never cleaned off of dirty hands. Again dirty all around the floor. And they have something seriously wrong with the elevator. Very loud bang each time you pass the 2nd floor. There are only 3 floors. That definitely didn't feel safe. Housekeeping won't go into your room during your stay unless you ask. Leave your towels outside the door to get replaced but the floor? Ugh. The halls are not cooled. Very muggy. Breakfast was edible but meh. Gym was dirty. I wiped off the treadmill and actual dirt coming off. Filthy underneath. Never moved. No wipes offered to clean. The treadmill has a message to lubricate and if you dare to hold the handles it will rock. They aren't attached properly. Door wasn't even locked to get in. Don't waste your money. Go somewhere else."
