The beach is great but the beach chairs are not free, the pool area is run down and smelled like vomit. The room itself was clean: clean sheets and blankets, but the bathroom was very run down. Toilet overflowed and when the cleaners were done cleaning, the door was left ajar with all of our belongings inside!

If I could select zero I would. I have travelled 60 countries in 40 years, never have I wished I would write a zero rated review ever. I reserved for the love of my life’s vacation. I purchased based on the images provided to Expedia. The images do not represent the room or the property we were shown. Unfortunately this management has a no refund policy no matter what you think. Expedia even tried on our behalf to explain this matter to Chateau Beachfront staff with no success. The property images are not true, this constitutes fraud. I will contact my Mastercard Fraud Department and lodge a complaint. We did not receive the product or service we purchased. Remember folks that you can always apply for a charge back from your Credit Card Company

The upgrades from many years ago are very nice. Outside areas are well thought out and implemented, with a good bit of pleasant sitting areas with astro turf. A beautiful pool; plenty of chairs/loungers; a tiki bar and great landscaping make the stay very worthwhile. Clean rooms with updating here also. Staff is very nice and attentive to detail. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

This hotel underwent an extensive remodeling with very pleasing results: updated rooms, beautiful pool area, overall attractive appearance. This is one of the best values in Panama City Beach.

We booked for the location on the beach and paid a fairly low price for the view. This was not a 5 star hotel and we didn’t expect it to be for the price. The pool is not heated but was great. The lounge areas were well cared for. We had an affordable good breakfast from the tiki bar. Rooms are a little dated but suited us (dad and 2 kids) just fine. The view from our room in 303 was amazing! True oceanfront.

This property was absolutely disgusting. You have a very beautiful opportunity with the views but the entire experience outside of that, was horrible. Hair all over the shower. The floors had a dirty film on them. The bathroom smelled moldy and like pee. The bathtub does not drain properly, the toilet had a PILE of said in it, had to be flushed multiple times and dirty on the lid.I didn’t even attempt to eat and food or beverages because I didn’t trust anything was sanitary. I am not a review person at all as far as leaving them, but this needs to be fixed quickly. No clean towels, trash taken out or refresh if the bathroom ever happened. So much more but please please please do better. The staff does not seem to care as they complained for the 25min it took me to get checked in. Please do better. This is absolutely ridiculous.

We stayed in the room with 2 bedrooms (family suite) It’s a great location with Harpoon Harry’s right next door. It is very strange that one of the bathrooms doesn’t have a sink in it or even close by. The furniture isn’t comfortable and there was not a place to sit and eat. There is no place to hang towels and only 2 dressers for.a room that sleeps 8. Lastly, There was a cockroach in the room. The guy came in and sprayed for bugs under the sink but sprayed all the stuff under the sink without moving it. It was a good place for a bunch of kids but not really set up for a family.

Lovely property and very clean. Staff is super helpful and very welcoming. I wish there was more emphasis on the nightclub next to the hotel as it got unbearably loud. So much so we requested to change rooms. Staff were very prompt and helpful in accommodating us because of this. However, I wish we were made aware of the club’s notorious nature before initial check in. Otherwise, pleasant and lovely stay.

This property is connected to Best Western… that should give you an idea for how your money was spent. There were some updates and was right on the beach and strip which was convenient You can walk out of your door and be on the beach or take a walk along the strip and find many beach stores, 4-wheel rentals, amd eateries. There was a kitchenette amd a desk that was super convenient. The beds were comfortable and for the most part it was clean. I’m not a fan of old properties. The external color is off putting, there was a slight stain on the comforter- not as if it was washed, but like a faint stain that didn’t come out in the wash. The walks and doors were a bit dingy and stained and one morning there was a tiny roach in the bathroom. The towels were also a bit old; once they get rough, they should be discarded. Same for the sheets. Overall, it was a good spot for our 2-night stay. If it was a longer trip, I most likely would opt for a higher starred property.

This property was recently renovated so the cleanliness and modern floors and furniture was nice. The room was great for the price, however the staff didn’t provide room service one time (during a 5 day stay). It was very under-equipped with towels, washcloths, TP, etc. The two BIGGEST problems though were 1) on day 1 the fire alarm went off during a hot shower I was taking. The staff proceeded to knock on my room and accuse me of smoking/vaping. Come to find out it happens all the time due to the shower at this hotel, according to the firemen who came minutes later. 2) the shower had no protection under the curtain, like no bathtub or water stopper. Water would quite literally run onto our floor and turn our bathroom into a swamp. Pretty gross but just wore bath shoes and solved that problem. Overall a good bang for a buck but if you want minimal issues pay the extra 30/night for somewhere else.

Very nice motel but our room had very dirty floors. There were socks, toys, and a kids backpack under the bed. We were there for 3 days and we only got clean towels and tp because we asked front desk, otherwise there’s no daily upkeep of rooms. Next door there’s a club/restaurant that blasted music from 7pm-1:30 am every day we were there. Kinda sucked that we couldn’t sleep well due to that. Now the location is perfect since it’s on the beach. Staff were bery nice.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Our rooms were very clean. Location is perfect and the view of the beach from the rooms are perfect. The older bartender lady who works days was my favorite staff member she made the pool day very enjoyable. I come down every year and usually stay at another hotel but i for sure will be staying here every year instead. 100/10 recommended can’t wait to go back!

Our room was upgraded and it was fantastic!! We faced the ocean and had sun all day. There is a lot of work going on at the hotel, but everyone was pleasant and it was not problematic to our stay.
