"Enjoyed our two nights at The Islander Inn. We had an ocean front king room with a balcony and the views were fantastic. Use of the balcony is difficult as the AC unit discharges hot air and is very noisy. Was disappointed that the room didn't offer a ceiling fan, as the AC unit was working fine but the air wasn't being circulated and the bathroom was hot. We would have liked to see the continental breakfast have more options as the only hot item available was waffles and the only fruit available was a banana and they were not ripe enough to eat. Overall the room was clean and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed time on the beach and at the pool and pool bar was great. The pool area has no shade. This facility is walkable to the pier, park, ice cream, several restaurants, shopping and grocery. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family."

"The staff was very nice and check in was easy. The room had a jacuzzi (one of the reasons I booked here) but it did not work. It was being used as a regular bathtub with a shower. The room was big and was clean on the surface- but the cabinets in the kitchen and bath areas were worn and dirty. The bath cabinets looked like they had been water damaged and were pretty sad. Overall- it just needed a thorough scrub down of the cabinets, walls, and furniture. The furniture was old and very worn and scratched. The bed was not pleasant at all. Very uncomfortable. The view was beautiful, but our windows faced the public hot tubs and it wasn’t private unless we kept our blinds shut. The room was very spacious and had two bathrooms. It was very disappointing we couldn’t use the jacuzzi."

"Room fee way up to $300 per night.Was it due to the crazy bike week?,or that the hotel is located by a marina?Not sure why.Holiday Inn express usually $180 per night. Room 320 was a "suite" but still n ot worth $300+ per night.Breakfast was passable."
