Good place and they brought me a barbeque there to barbecue. It was good. I enjoyed it. So ,
This is a budget priced hotel and it is a good value for the money. The place is a bit secluded, no real sign, just a narrow but very short dirt track but easily passable even in the rain. Not a sign out front that is visible from the road but the Google maps had it located very well. The rooms are a bit old, things are worn but in decent repair for the most part. The things that matter are okay, hot shower, plenty of water, a working satellite TV, a full kitchen with hot plate, fridge, sink, and plenty of dishes and cookware for five to eight people. There were three double beds, two in a closed bedroom with air con, one out in the main room. Two worn but covered arm chairs and a small sofa. The main area/beaches are maybe one to two kilometers away along with hardware stores, fast food places, and restaurants. A bit of a walk to the beach but you can park down at the Tourist Police parking lot for 100 pesos and it is an easy walk down past McDonalds to the beach. Parking for the beach is 100 pesos but you can redeem the ticket at a local gas station about 100 meters West of the parking lot, so if you need fuel you get that money back. All in all this is a great place for a budget visit to the area. Maybe five to eight minutes to the airport, maybe fifteen minutes to the big grocery stores in Tagbiliran.
You get what you pay for... they have Televisions with cable but the management doesn’t pay their cable bill. The rooms are ok but no food is available. Not close to the restaurants ,beaches or night life also

The approach to this inn is ver off putting. There is a line of old shraggy tree. There is rough stone land in front and motor bike obstructing entrance.
The reception was welcoming and room available. There are a number of minor faults but looked past them and enjoyed the stay.
The room was comfortable and clean
Breakfast was available at reasonable cost.
There is a small pool there.

For a low budget, it was good!
For a low-price or budget accomomdation, this was a fine place. I didn't eat any food there, as it didn't look like what I would want. Small pool is OK. Staff are nice enough. The front of the property is a bit deceiving - piles of construction rubble, animals grazing and kind of a run-down expectation to introduce itself. The common area was not conducive to socializing, but that's also possibly my lack of initiative. More families there than others (it seemed) when I stayed solo. Location requires a short walk to a small beach or a 2 km or so trip to Alona's beach road.

Good stay in small family resort
We have been upgraded in a bigger room and we had like an appartment with living room, separated bedroom, kitchen..so we could cook... We were the the only guests there..;so we could enjoy the small swimming pool and we could feel like in our own holliday house. Panglao beach is at about 4 KM...This small resort is specially good for people liking peacefull place and not searching disco, bars or restaurant nearby... but we enjoyed there.
Well, surely it is not look like on pictures but this is Philippines. Old air con which makes huge noise but fan is perfectly ok. Clean room, cooking set is useful as you can take fish from market in the morning and enjoy it at your place. It is only 20 minute walk from Alona but to say the truth Alona is nothing to be excited about. I would recommend to explore island by bike instead tourist place. Staff was always helpful and polite. It was a good stay.

Hotel out of nowhere(location problem)
The closest beach is a km away and not a good one . The hotel is 4 km away from Alona beach you have to take a motor cycle ride to go there . The hotel is good for a long term stay but for the beach lover this is not an ideal place . Excellent staff clean room but still way far from the beach .
We loved our stay at Acacia, Josie and the rest of the staff are truly amazing! Very nice and quiet hotel, walking distance to Alona if you want. It is not a five star resort, but really comfy! Recommended!

pleasant stay
What we liked about the place was its location, it is about 1,5-2km from Alona beach, takes some time to walk or you need a tricycle but we liked local people living in the same neighborhood. The place is run by a lovely lady, and both she and her assistant are really accommadating, but the younger staff staying there in the evening has difficulties with language, and there is not much choice for breakfast.. But I would stay there again..
Comfortable small hotel and friendly staff.Near Alona Beach but a little far to walk, although I did do it once.Trikes are readily available. They will arrange pickup at airport and tours in air conditioned car -at a somewhat lower price than beter established tour operators
This small hotel is nice if you don't want to spend as much as in Alona beach, but still want to be near to it (5 minutes by motorbike, 45 minutes on foot along the coastline once you reach Danao beach). A plus of the hotel are the cooking facilities, although the 2 pits were not getting really hot enough for preparing meat dishes. A cute little swimming pool compensates for the rather long distance to the beach (10-15 minutes walk).

Isolated
The Hotel was not too bad, with a little pool. But location very isolated and surrounded by forest. Danao beach it's 10 min walk but very dirty and small beach with no amenities around. Better was Alona beach which is 10 min by motorbike that you have to hire from hotel if you want to see something around. I stayed only 1 night but I wouldn't stay more than that.
