"Oliver’s is outstanding in every way. Convenient to the airport and the Numbi Gate of Kruger National Park, my family had a most memorable stay at Oliver’s. The facility, property layout, service, and hospitality were unmatched. "This is good for a brief and mostly comfortable stay in Mbombela. The room is really small, but well laid out and the AC works well. The wifi was not great but okay, and the hotel does have a backup generator if needed. The staff were mostly friendly, but more care can be taken to explain about the property at check-in, or even provide a statement at checkout (still waiting for that to be emailed to me). "The staff was awesome. The location was great. But…. the cleaner they had used was super strong smelling, so much so that it gave us a bit of a headache. Also, we happened to be there on a very windy night and the metal roof was banging around and making so much noise that we had a lot of difficulty sleeping. I must admit I wondered if the whole place was going to blow down. It didn’t, it was solid and we were safe. "
