There are zero snacks in our room, room service only offers cold sandwhiches and a few deserts (no hot food options and no breakfast). We were only given 1 glass in our room our entire stay. The alcholol in our room are seekf serve taps with full bottles of booze (not entirely sanitary). The only food option between 11am-noon are pastries and finger sandwhiches in the coffe shop, that doesn't even open until 11am), the food is terrible, unseasoned, abs tasteless.The resteraunts don't open until 6:30pm, where the resort blocks off any reservations for the first 2 days of check in. The steak is unedibley chewy and our lobster had gone bad. There are nats all over the open containers for garnish in the back bar, and alcolol taps do not apear to be cleaned regularly. The hot tub and sauna have been broken for months (and no one Mentone before we paid full price for spa services). We will never return to a Riu property anywhere in this planet

After three all inclusive last year, we were excited to visit the Bahamas. Overall the property at best is dated and lacks common features you would expect to find in what is billed as a five star resort. One usb charger in our room, busted liquor dispenser and no working fan in the bathroom. Staff overall seemed miserable for our stay and only saw a glimpse of positivity on Sunday. Bartenders routinely substituted drink orders for what was closest to them not what was ordered. Beer choices were poor and the tap system throughout the facility served flat beer Pools were nice and guests were friendly but most shared complaints that we encountered. Overall if you are looking for a budget resort that has limited option this place would be for you. If you have been on an all inclusive before opt for one of the others on the Island

There was a derelict hotel right next to us. The RIU was lovely and well-maintained, but this building right next door was not. Everyone at the RIU was pleasant and kind and so willing to help us. Made our stay even better! The shuttle service to and from the airport was definitely NOT good. I would not recommend them (Nexus)

The property is outdated in terms of bedroom looks. Staff at the pool was very selective as to who they served. My boyfriend and I watched different staff for several days walk past us and ask other people for their drink orders and ignored us. One gentleman by the pool came over and took our glasses other than that we were invisible. Also having more umbrellas for the pool area would be nice. Reservations for dinner were insane to get. We checked in on Saturday could not get a reservation until the Tuesday. So the only option was the buffet. our room wasn’t ready when we got there we were told 20mins it turned in over an hour then got the most basic room ever. We watched people come in after us and immediately got a room. The club was nice to look forward to at night. Maybe it was just that RIU but from 1 to 10 I’ll give a 4.5

Over all was a great stay! But all their restaurants were booked days in advance - so we dined only in the hotel buffet. The food was good but not exceptional. Reception team were very friendly. While the rest of the staff was rather stiff.

There is an abandoned property next door that is a bit of an eye sore. The RIU property was very condensed, but overall nice and good for our relaxing week of endless drinks, food, and sun!

Dirtiest room I have ever seen (hair and used condom on bed). Dust is everywhere!! Ocean view was just concrete even though we called and confirmed a week in advance. Room service was terrible. Room service options are just a few things with tiny portions. Called four times in one day and nothing. We were just requesting mini fridge refills for bottled water. Mini refrigerator has free soda, water, and beer. But they never refilled it. Restaurants have odd hours but food is great. A lot of the same meals. There are multiple restaurants but you had to make a reservation with two to three days in advance. So we couldn’t get in to anything other than the buffet. Pool area is great but don’t expect a seat. We didn’t get one in the 5 days we were there. We are frequent travelers and this is the first bad review I’ve ever given. Just a terrible hotel experience from the beginning.

Clean and attentive service in restaurants and hotel. Maid staff didn’t clean room one day and didn’t replace towels twice. Food in restaurants was good. Buffet was ok nothing great. Same food every day. Breakfast buffet was better. Night life needs a upgrade. Entertainers tried hard but nothing spectacular. Wish they just played dance music and make more like a club.

Resort staff and bartenders are awesome. Pools could be a little more clean, you see sunscreen and lotion blobs floating. Wish they had servers in the beach area as the nearest bar is a bit of a drag. Could not get into the restaurants because they book up fast but buffet was always good, plenty of options.

This was our first time in the Bahamas. We booked this trip last minute for our anniversary so a lot of the other hotels in the area were booked. We chose this one because it was all inclusive and all adults. The hotel is on the smaller side and not much to do.The views are beautiful from the rooms. The beach was on high warning for about 3 days so we were unable to get in. The beach is beautiful and the water is clear. I will have to say the solicitors on the beach were so annoying. Every 5 minutes someone was trying to sell you on some time share, braids, cigars, pineapple/coconut with liquor, cover ups, hand made turtles, jet skis or excursions. Normally we would start our day at the beach and end up in the pool before noon. Also, the resort has signs stating not to hold chairs with beach towels but every morning we would wake up early and chairs would have towels for hours without anyone there. The Jerk Chicken spot by the pool was amazing! The restaurants were always booked. Only ate at 2. The buffet food was pretty good! We always found something. Even though we kept hearing complaints from others. Shows at night were pretty good! Drinks at the bars were good. We had our own cups and the drinks seemed to be pretty much juice vs when you ordered in a regular cup. Wish the coffee spot was 24 hours or open earlier. Security was on point at all times and very alert! In all I think I would visit this resort again.

After being slightly hesitant due to some reviews, we booked this all-inclusive hotel for a getaway. Aside from the iffy elevators (they are all functional, they just seem too small for a resort of this size), the trip was amazing! Food was great. Using the app, we were able to make reservations for each night of our stay and tried all 4 of the restaurants. My wife's favorite was the Kulinarium, and she particularly like the Tamarind beef. The trick is to remember to pop on the app in the morning when spots open up. The regular provided buffet was also great and had a wide variety of food selections for all tastes. Service was excellent. This resort is also a short walk from Atlantis, and after 6 you can walk around much of the Atlantis property without a day pass, including The Dig aquarium.

This particular RIU needs more or better entertainment; The same entertainers each day became a bit boring. maybe upgrade to a dance, drink area. excursions. The rooms need to be updated, rusted mirrors, light fixture. Pools and hot tubs we're unsanitary. The Spa did not provide towels. The drinks were far too sweet. The food was luke warm to cold.

This was a good property, but don’t feel it was comparable to other RIU Palaces (such as Cabo). Getting a reservation for dinner was next to impossible. They wanted you to use the app, yet only 2 nights could we get a reservation and then you’d walk by a nearly empty restaurant. I feel RIU needs to change up their restaurants. The last few have all been the same as the previous resort. This resort also, had several water problems. We didn’t have hot water for 2 nights and there was a big water leak on the 2nd floor and 6 rooms of people had to be moved and the lobby got flooded below.

I absolutely loved the beach but I was not pleased with our dining experience. It was extremely hard getting dinner reservations.

I thought it was a bit smaller for a riu which made it nicer because it wasn’t so busy. The locals were sooo nice. Yes they are trying to sell stuff but they are friendly and I never felt threatened unlike in other counties

The staff was very helpful and attentive .The dinning room staff made sure we were ok asking if we needed anything. The food was good and there was a variety of everything . The room was kept tidy our housekeeper was very friendly . We had no complaints would stay there again.
