"The staff were lovely and very helpful booking tours, taxis and discussing local travelling . The amenities are just not 4 star . The outdoor bar lacks character and experienced bartender. The hotel inside and out just looked warn. No fresh flowers, towels were not plush, lobby furniture needed to be freshened up and it just wasn’t a place that you enjoyed coming back to after evening dinner . "It’s a nice enough property. The staff is kind and the grounds are well maintained. Breakfast is above average. The lady that runs the breakfast is fantastic, really trying to make her customers happy. However, no Expedia VIP benefit was offered. When I mentioned this during check in, the girl said she will look into it and get back to me. Heard nothing. Food and drinks are extremely expensive here. The resort is a bit remote and it appears ownership is taking advantage. At the mini market down the street, water costs ~20 cents for a half liter. In the room mini bar, $4.80! Only two free bottles were offered during our two night stay. There are other options closer to town. We will likely try those next time."
