"All staff were very, very good Stephania was very attentive and great fun. The place was very clean and well appointed with excellent breakfast and lunch. An excellent and perfect for a quiet break.
It would be really great if an evening meal could be provided. Currently one has to go Squinzano and restaurants open after 8. "

"Amazing stay at this Masseria which exceeded all expectations. From the beautiful interiors and location, to the delicious breakfast and dinner cooked by the hosts, our stay was fantastic. Nick and Anja are incredible hosts and the Masseria is even more beautiful in real life. We loved waking up among the beautiful tree groves and enjoying the days by the pool. "All the staff was very polite and helpdome. The rooms was clean. Swimmingpools should be cleaned every day and many of the sunbeds need to be repaired. It was very limited what to buy at the bar. Breakfast was a very simply italian stile, some fresh bread- ham and cheese could be fine. There was a very few restaurants in this village, at the hotel it was not possible to have dinner. Small distance to other cities. were it was possible."

"Our stay at the palazzo was one of the best stays we have ever had in a long time! The staff and the hospitality they have shown to us was amazing! From the very beginning of our booking until the day we left we were treated like royalty. Caterina always had answers, suggestions, for all our needs. Our breakfast always "yummy" and prepare by the most caring, lovely Laurie! Language was not barrier; you don't need to speak the same language to know kindness. The palazzo is gorgeous inside and out, if you have any mobility issues, they do have an elevator which was A+ for us. All this to say, if you ever are in the vicinity of Squinzano or close to it and need a place to stay where you be taking care of and have and excellent time, I recommend the stay at the Palazzo de Castro. If there were more stars to give, I would give more!!! Denisse, Dexter & Angela"
"Not what I was expected. I know we came during off season but in May. The winery seem to be well known in the area but it wasn't open. They don't really have staff in attendance, but you can always reach them by email or phone if you have local cell phone. They use an app to access the gate into the venue unfortunately that our connection wasn't always the greatest and we needed to ask our friend to open the gate for us. We only saw one or two other guests in the hotel so it is really too quiet without staff around. "
