"The place is wonderful. What I did not like much is that some of the facilities were not available (hidro massage, gas bbq). The road to get there is also narrow and full of curves, but totally worth it. The family do not speak much in English, but we always could mostly understand each other. The apartment that I got was old fashioned and better than I could expect and with almost everything you might (no salt or oil to cook, but everything else). The view is amazing and the heating elements...

"I booked a single room at the Italia. It's in an unprepossing area of Reggio Emilia, and nobody was around when I turned up. I called and ten minutes later somebody let me in. His Italian was very poor, but he tried to communicate that I could have a different room for a couple of hours because somebody was sleeping in my single room. Then I could change.     "We were unaware of all of the Ferrari city that this hotel was in the middle of and ended up booking it purely so that we could go to the museum quickly. However, we were blown away by how excellent everything in the hotel was from the check-in to the amabalcony to the breakfast, to the room service. The hotel became as much of an experience as the museum."
