The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. Amazing dinner but no real town to walk about. This is a great place if you have a car and want to explore nearby beaches. Close to the train station. "Etoiles is a great place to re-set, beautifully furnished, set in tranquil surroundings. The heated pool is a big plus especially in the spring time and there is also a beach short walk away. The property has secure private parking. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. It is a perfect base to explore Calabria. "

"Suite rooms ran down to unbearable condition. Bedding and furniture are old and damaged. Electric appliances outdated and damaged. Ceramic tiles very old and cracked. Bedding sheets were not cleaned and had spots on them."
