"The breakfast was outstanding, right down to the cloth napkins. Great choice of breads, cheeses, and more conventional breakfast items. There were smoked salmon and specialty meats. There were machines for expressos, and custom prepared coffees. I just wish I had a bigger appetite in the morning! The bed was fantastic: firm but with a soft padding. The staff was professional and took an interest in the customer experience. Nicolas helped me when I checked in. I had a problem with my room. I went back downstairs. And told Nicolas; he immediately offered to switch my room to an identical one above the current one. I was pleasantly surprised to realize that his concern was with my comfort and satisfaction. Also the hostess in the breakfast room was great. She listened to me and made the exact coffee I wanted. And she remembered the next two days without being reminded. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name."

"It was relaxing to have a very big bed after a long day of travelling. The shower was easy to access & easy to use after we had worked out what to do with the shower gel, you squeeze it. Couldn't comment on meals, we didn't partake of any."

"This is a unique place to stay. Part working farm, part old stone manor house. The hosts are incredibly friendly and depending on the occupancy you'll find yourself just mixing in with other guests in the shared lounge / breakfast area, outside tables etc. The rooms are not 'hotel decor' but they're comfortable (the beds in ours didn't match but both were great to sleep on). Breakfast was lovely, crepes with different toppings. We had our dog with us and he loved being able to wander around a bit (and right outside the property is a little village green / plaza). Only slight issue - not too many food options nearby (we went into Troyes, but there are a couple options closer)."

"Loved our overnight stay at this historic hotel in perfectly situated in the old town with its own small car park. All the staff were friendly and helpful , breakfast buffet was excellent with fresh orange juice , homemade pastries and local preserves. Our room was large with traditional furniture / furnishings including a very comfortable four poster bed - no air conditioning but several fans , and a large modern bathroom ."
