Its a decent place to stay. Staff is nice and the location is very local and surrounded with public transport. The hotel itself I find a tadd expensive for what you get. But it is very clean and that is nice.

The hotel is situated on a busy main road with the traffic noise it is impossible to sleep with the windows open. The walls are paper thin guests in next rooms can be heard word for word! Room 25 bathroom is tiny navigating the shower cubicle is impossible if you aren’t a size zero! The staff are welcoming and helpful, The breakfast adequate. Location is good for Metro and Trains to the Main attractions and Disneyland Paris.

Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful! Rooms are nice; a bit small but not by European standards. The air conditioner made an intermiitent sound that kept my husband up at night (I wear ear plugs) and we needed help to get the shower to operate fully but otherwise, a nice stay.

This hotel has the best staff, such nice welcome and caring, the inside courtyard is really nice to chill and have coffee. There are grocery shops, bakery, restaurants at doorstep, also a laundry shop and subway station 2 min walking distance. Elevator goes to all floors, room was small but ok for one person, clean, there was a tower fan only in the room, no AC as in most Parisian hotels, I went in september when not too hot so it was ok without AC . One of my favourite hotel in Paris.

The property has been recently renovated and is quite nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. And as a female solo traveler, the area feels safe and the Nation metro is nearby. I've stayed here 3 times in the past and know I'll be back.

Excellent stay at this hotel. Within 5 mins walking distance to the Nation metro. Links to central Paris with ease. The staff were friendly, informative and nothing was an issue for them. The room and bathroom were spotless.

My favourite place to stay!

It’s always great to stay at the Agate hotel! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the bed comfortable, the room very clean and it’s near the Nation métro and a great boulangerie and Thaï restaurant next door! What’s not to love! Thank you, Agate Hotel staff! I’ll be back!

Great location. Wonderful neighborhood. Fun street market right outside Wednesday and Saturday. Staff is OUTSTANDING. Metro, RER and bus transportation a block away. Market, patisserie around the corner. Several nice restaurants within 1-2 blocks.

The location of the hotel is very convenient to Metro and the restaurant/bakery nearby. Also the cleanliness and the friendliness of of the hotel receptionist. What is not preferably was the size of the room especially the toilet and shower. Other than that we like the hotel.

Great stay! Just a bit noisy.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! I appreciated their quick service. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside of the stay was that the walls are very thin. I could hear people talking in the room next to me, which made it difficult to fall asleep. Besides that, it was an excellent stay!

Clean, Cozy and Very Enjoyable.

Like most hotels in Paris - this one has small rooms. But it was on the cozy side of small and not cramped. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. The bed was very good as were the linens. It is in a fairly busy part of the City, albeit not a very touristy one. But I chose this location for its proximity and access to the Accor Bercy arena for a concert I was attending. Overall, I definitely liked this hotel and think it is a fine choice for solo travelers.

This hotel is 5 minutes walk from Nation station which, in turn, is just a few stops from Gare de Lyon - handy if you are travelling by train. My room was small, but provided everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable. The two doors to get into the room I was in are really heavy - I struggled to open them! It was virtually impossible to regulate the temperature of the shower - it would end up either too hot or not quite hot enough. There is a very good size tv in the room. If you are tired and don’t want to walk far, I ate a very good meal in the Thai restaurant next door. I felt very comfortable eating in there as a solo female traveller.
