A great short stay at BW Ronceray Opera. I stayed at the property for 2 nights (Floor 2), the hotel is in a fantastic area which is close to metro station Grands Boulevards (Line 8 9) as well as walking distance to many tourist spots. The room was clean, decent size and had all the necessary provisions, we stayed in room 201 which was at the front and limited noise from the road outside. Staff friendly and helped us with all our needs, Hot breakfast is a great option, cannot fault this hotel and would book again.

Loved the location in the Opera district, tugged away in a cute shopping aisle. 20-25 minutes walk to all the major sites. We got a very spacious room on the 4th floor, wiith a huge roof balcony. Air condition was so so, just local device not central. So had to use cross breeze of the fans during hot month of August.

Our room window was facing the main street and it was very noisy throughout the night and early morning. And we stayed on a weekday evening, not a weekend. The rooms are not soundproofed; I heard another guest snoring as well!

The hotel is conveniently situated for cafes and shops the breakfast is abysmal so don't bother go to a cafe it’s cheaper and fresher. The place was very clean, comfortable beds etc but it was a little tired. The handrail up to our room wobbled and look like it was about to collapse furniture in the room was also very tired. Staff were pleasant enough but didn’t really need there assistance.

Very nice view and the room is super clean. I came 1 hour before the check-in time and asked if there was any chance for the early check-in. The Asian lady front desk was a rude and not friendly at all, she kept talking on the phone for really long time before helping the line. I understand not being able to check-in early but I don’t get the attitude. Later on, there was another lady helped me when I checked-in and also checked out the next day, she was very nice, helpful and attentive.

The location is this hotel is super. But have to say my trip was pretty much ruined when I was locked out of my room on the last night. I had met friends who were over from Australia. Been out for dinner and returned to the room. Left my phone wallet. Popped upto their room and when I came back down the door wouldn’t open. After waiting in reception for almost an hour the door simply was locked shut and couldn’t be opened. I was then put in some kind of staff/reserve room. A single bad and no window. No ability to tell what time it was. No belongings of any kind. I was told I would get a call at 7-8am the next morning. The anxiety this caused me was unreal, not knowing when I’d get back in my room. Not knowing if I’d make my train back to London. And frankly the hotel staff didn’t seem to really care. No real apologies. The next morning, 8.30 no call so I head down and I tell them I was locked out. I get a sharp “yes” and then I have to ask what’s going on. So blaze, I’m told they are waiting for someone to come out but it could be 9 or later but not really sure. So I head back upto the room where I sit and wait. At around 9.40 I get a call saying I can now get back in my room. On checkout I ask for a refund for that night. Since I didn’t stay in the room I paid for. She goes to ask the manager he agrees but it needs to go through Expedia. You guessed it still no refund. Hotel not relishing and I’m left with a bitter taste of a trip. Not good enough on both fronts.
