Loved the location was comfortable enough for what we needed, outmost of the time, just a little noises with the bar underneath, but managed to get some sleep

4/5 Good

We stayed for 3 nights in a triple room on the first floor. We did not get the daily breakfast; there鈥檚 actually a grocery store two doors down where you can get a fresh coffee and croissant for 3 euros instead, if you prefer. The hotel was what is expected of a two star hotel. Small rooms, basic amenities. I can say it was definitely clean, however the amenities provided were just soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and towels. There were no facial tissues / Kleenex. Also, we stayed in late August so it was hot - the room was VERY stuffy and I am someone that typically doesn鈥檛 mind a bit of heat. We had just one fan (the hotel only has one fan per room and no AC). They didn鈥檛 have extra fans on site. There was a window so you do get a bit of airflow - we were in a triple room on the first floor (about 1.5 flights of stairs up). There was a functional small elevator, enough to fit one person with their carry-on luggage. We only used it once as it felt a bit claustrophobic for me to be in there repeatedly. For check out, we waited ten min for the elevator and it never came so we just took the stairs (someone else must鈥檝e been using it or it may have been out of order). FYI the steps in Europe/Paris are typically steep and curved, as were the ones at this hotel. The front desk staff were ABSOLUTELY wonderful. Very helpful with recommendations and advice for visitors. They did their best to make us comfortable. FYI, whenever you leave the hotel you do have to leave your room key.
