Well cared for property, quite intimate. Always thoughtful, 24 hour front desk, eager to help. Breakfast are continental breakfast, fresh pastries. Area of the hotel is quiet, and access to Metro is quite easy. Enjoyed our 11 day stay.

My husband and I had an amazing stay! First, the location was perfect, even though the weather was cold, we walked eerywhere! From the outside, the hotel is lovely, the interior is charming and warm. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We were worried about the typical small rooms in Paris hotels, so we booked the suite. It was certainly more space than we needed for two, but at the end of a busy day, we felt like we were returning to a luxurious apartment that had been carefullly attended to. We will absolutely stay there again!

The hotel is old and the rooms and facilities are really outdated. Paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable but all furnishings were really outdated. Location is good.

Room was smaller than expected but pretty typical for Paris. The hotel is on a fairly quiet street but several good restaurants within walking distance. The front desk staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Would be happy to stay again.

The staff were all very courteous, receptive, and hospitable. I would give them 5 stars for the excellent staff. The hotel itself is quaint, has a great location, and is very walkable. The hotel is a little old which is true of a lot of hotels, but the rooms and particularly the bathroom is well sized for Paris. The one thing that detracted a bit was that the bed was very firm and the mattress did not breathe well, so even though it was winter, it was hard to sleep well with the humidity under the duvet and we often woke up to either throw off the blanket or pull it back up when it got cooler.

This hotel is very cute and quaint in a quieter neighborhood of Paris that is close to the action of the 7th arrondissement. We ended our stay here and were impressed by the hospitality and charmed by the traditional decoration of the rooms. They also have a nice courtyard to enjoy breakfast in.

Hotel De Varenne is a charming boutique hotel with a wonderful staff! Alexey was especially helpful and always remembered our room number and names! Situated on a quiet street in the 7th district, it was centrally located to most attractions and sites we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again.
