Fine hotel in a very nice area. Rooms are simple and plain but do the job. Bathrooms leave some to be desired: there are no hooks to hang a towel on, the shower door wasn’t flush with the wall so the floor inevitably floods when the water is on, and there’s no mount for the toilet paper, just a loose roll. The staff are hit or miss: I found most to be polite, friendly, and helpful, but one of them was less so.

There was nothing to dislike. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very quiet and very clean. Although the WC/Shower area was small in my single room it was perfectly acceptable and I found the shower excellent.

Max 15 mins slow walk from Gare de Lyon station while dragging bulky luggage on uneven pavement. Normal walk 10 mins. Comfortable bedding, clean facilities and professional and friendly staff. It's a great base to explore Paris because you know you're coming back to a comfortable bed and waking up refreshed.

Great location, really helpful and friendly staff (despite my butchering of the French language), really clean room, comfy bed (one of the best sleeps I have had in months) and great AC. Small but well-appointed room, fine for a night. Expensive but Paris just is! The desk staff were very helpful, providing a kettle (not standard in the room) and booking us a taxi when we said we had to leave before breakfast time. Just one small negative - the wash-basin was VERY slow to drain - but the bath/shower combo was fine.

Very decent facilities & impeccable staff. Comfy bed & decent pillow. Slept well. Hotel is located in a business area, so not exactly a breathtaking view from the window but quiet at night. A supermarket & a couple of corner shops nearby. It's an old building retrofit, so if you had a massive argument in your room, people in the building can hear it, but perfectly fine at a normal noise level. Happy to book again.

Convenient location from the Lyon station and good staff. One note below for your attention. I brought backpack only so no problem but if you want to bring large luggage, need to check which floor your room is as lift is available only to 5th floor. If your room is 6th floor, you need to bring up.

Nostalgisches Hotel in direkter Nähe zur Bastille. Bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber mit Charme, besonders der Aufzug. Ideal für meine geplanten Aktivitäten. (Halbmarathon Paris) nur 300 m vom Zieleinlauf. Zimmer war recht klein. Als Einzelzimmer vollkommen ausreichend. Alles sauber. Ich war zufrieden.
