Our Go To for Paris

Second time we’ve stayed here in 12 months. We were only in town for 1 night for the paralympics but service was great throughout.

The hotel itself looked ok, however I booked a quad room and what I got was an apartment several doors down from the hotel, full of mold and dust, no elevator (had to drag 3 heavy suitcases up a narrow flight of stairs and noone offered to help). I booked this as a three star hotel and as such, by law it is supposed to have an elevator, problem is, nowhere does it say that if you book a room for 4, you would be sent to another building with no reception, broken TV, dirty room, and hazardous mold. Hotel was not able to give me a room in the hotel as booked. Ran out of there next day. Still waiting for a refund for the room that was a nightmare at a premium price of $500 a night. See photos.

This property was extremely comfortable and located near the Metro and easily walkable to many popular attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and many cute restaurants were right around the block.

Decent location. Good for walking to attractions. Room is basic with a small shower but does the job for a few nights. You have to hand your key in when you leave the hotel every time which we thought was weird but seemed to be fine. Beds were very squeaky ! Would recommend this hotel.

We had the best time at Hotel Mayet!!! The receptionist were all so very nice, it’s so clean and cute! The area was perfect walking distance to the metro and such a short walk away from Montparnasse. We highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely book there again!!!

Small but perfect for our needs. Metro 10 and 13 very close. Small lobby. Nice, helpful staff. Quiet neighborhood. Close to bakery and grocery.

This hotel needs an upgrade

Check-in was easy but the hotel room has not so good. I got a queen size bedroom and the only positive was that I had a large window that could open, with a street view. Besides that, there was no mini fridge (they called it a mini bar but couldn’t keep anything cool), no storage whatsoever (no closet or drawers at all), mold was growing in the bathroom, and the only thing room service gave you was fresh towels - they never changed the sheets in the 4 nights I stayed. I’ve stayed at similarly priced hotels in Paris and never had as bad of a room experience as this hotel - pick a different place!!

If you’re visiting Paris, this hotel is an excellent choice due to its fantastic location, delicious breakfast, and exceptionally friendly staff. The location is ideal, with excellent restaurants just steps away and metro stations nearby for easy city exploration. A highlight of our stay was the breakfast, which at just 14 euros, offers great value with fresh pastries, quality coffee, and other staples—perfect for starting a day of sightseeing. Parisian hotels often have smaller rooms, and this one is no exception, reflecting the city's typical compact design. However, this is standard and shouldn’t detract from the overall experience. Our room was cozy, well-appointed, and comfortable. In summary, this hotel provides a superb location, a great breakfast at a reasonable price, and exceptional staff. Pros: helpful and kind personnel with excellent service. The area was perfect with a 20 minute walk past many cafes to all the good spots. Good French breakfast. Relatively cheap. Cons: Small and noisy. AC did not work. Shower was clogged. The cleaning crew only tucked the bed, put out new towels and took the trash. Also forgot to refill toilet paper. All in all an okay hotel for travelers spending little to no time in the hotel room. Good for «get up and get out» tourists.
