The hotel was very comfortable and the staff was always willing to help. The area around the hotel was safe and close to great restaurants, Pelais Entrecot, Le Selec and Le Rotonde. The room was on the smallish side, but still comfortable. The hotel has a nice, continental breakfast. Great bed!

Comfortable Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortably appointed, with lots of space for storing our items. There were also several restaurants in the area. We did not take breakfast while at the hotel, mostly because we were feeling quite jet-lagged and would not have been able to get up in time.

So easy to take metro or buses, as Paris transit system goes almost everywhere. Room was very clean and really comfortable, soft beds. Our only suggestion is to include morning coffee, as we had no in-room coffee or even hot water appliance.

The concierge is always welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are wonderful, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is the best in Paris for eating, shopping, people watching and transportation choices are abundant. This is a first class hotel.

I can’t say enough about this hotel. We absolutely loved our stay. We had everything we needed and the location was so perfect, next to metro and train station. The hotel might need some update on some furniture but everything looks ok and functional. What I liked the most is that it is very clean and you could find robes and slippers, shampoo and sole and even nail file:) the stuff is very friendly and accommodating.

Our stay was great. Wonderful little room with a large balcony to sit on. Very clean and nicely updated. Sometimes it's hard from pictures to know how old the decor is going to be, but everything was fresh and clean at this hotel. The staff were consistently welcoming and helpful. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. The bedding was wonderful and the AC works very well. The lobby was cozy and the location was fantastic. Tucked onto a quiet side street but so close to all of our favorite spots, Jardin du Luxembourg, Blvd Saint Michele and Saint Germain. Great walkable area. We highly recommend this hotel.

Not worth the money, was incredibly expensive for a small, dated room. Disappointing stay for amount paid. Carpets were stained, bathroom was old and dingy. Staff very friendly and accommodating, but would not stay again for price.

Lovely, charming, romantic hotel located just a few hundred meters from the fabulous Luxembourg Gardens. Everything about the hotel is splendid, but most notable would be the cheerful, friendly service provided by each and every employee. Unfortunately, the only one whose name I know is Ivan. He is delightful and knowledgeable and ready to assist in any way that he can. This will be my go-to hotel in Paris for now on. Close to two metro stations, a late-night grocery store across the street, and only four or five rooms on each floor. It's quiet and sophisticated. This is Classic Paris. A great stay.

Decent location but they should sound proof

Overall great hotel, good location, friendly staff the only negative is that the water piping are not well isolated. For a 4star hotel, this is a bit disappointing. We could hear the shower from the other rooms. Someone was taking a shower at 2 in the night & it was very noisy. Hope they fix this & soundproof a bit.

Hello, I stayed at Hotel Sainte Beuve from 20 to 23 February. The hotel was advertised as 4 stars but all in all does not deserve even 3 stars. The rooms were dirty, the facilities were old and needed a revamp. The room was cold and the heating was not working properly. I went with my 7-month-old baby and in the elevator was not even space for the cot...we had to take the baby and carry her in the lift waking her up every time if she was sleeping. The bathroom was cold as the window did not close properly plus the sink in the bathroom was clogged the first day, which is insane for a 4 star hotel. We only had breakfast once and they had the courage to charge 18 euros for a miserable and small breakfast, with only fruit, a small yogurt and coffee.. only a la carte, served in the hotel reception, not even in a dedicated room.This hotel was expensive. I had to pay for my upgrade for the deluxe room which i regret so much and the taxes at the hotel more than 130 euro ....at the end this hotel was really expensive but it is not worth a penny. The staff at the reception is ok but when I asked about some free bath products they did not know what I was talking about...in a 4 star hotel..I did not even find a hand soap in the room...I feel like I have been robbed of my money. The room was not clean I found other people hair on the pillow the first day I got in....nothing screamed 4 star in there, max was a 3 star stay...very disappointed, dont be deceived from the pictures online
