Lovely quaint hotel with wonderful staff.

We loved staying at the New Orient Hotel. Stefen and all staff we had contact with were very helpful and personable. The hotel itself was quaint and in a great location. Attractions and restaraunts nearby, a supermarket directly across the road. Unfortunately no facilities in the room to make a cup of tea or coffee and no fridge but this did not retract from our stay.

My sister and I just got back from staying here a week and absolutely LOVED it. From the property, to the location, to the staff, everything was all we could have dreamed of on our first Paris trip. Stefan was extremely helpful with providing us a Paris map and giving us tips and ideas of places to visit. We will absolutely stay there again next year as we are already planning our next trip.

Honestly idyllic!! My husband and I went for our honeymoon, and we had the best time. We would frequently sit out on the balcony overlooking the street at night, and it was right out of a movie. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Cannot recommend enough!

There is an intimate, personal service at this hotel that I find charming. I felt like they tried to please each guest based on his/her individual needs. We choose 2 twin beds. They were comfortable. It was a small, tight room. We were given an option to upgrade to a more spacious room but we opted to keep what we had. If there was one negative, the toilet space is very small but we made do. I would return.

I read there was supposed to be lots of shopping around the area and was disappointed. The property is rated as a 3 star however i would give it more of a 2 star. The front desk/registration staff were friendly and helpful and this was appreciated. The hotel is older/historical so i understand there are some things they cant change but the stairs are really dangerous. There is a lift but its weird because it doesn't stop directly on floors so you still have to carry luggage up or down stairs and they are very narrow. Each day we went out of the room we had to step over/around the housekeepers laundry bags that filled the hallway. We didn't ask for housekeeping services (saves them labor cost) but they didn't offer to replace the towels and they only provided 4 towels total.(no washcloths)..we asked to exchange them and were given 4 semi tired towels total. We also asked for ice and they said they didn't have any. At over $250 a night (no breakfast) these are fairly simple things to fix.

I had a very nice stay at the New Orient Hotel. I will definitely stay there again. I had the breakfast the first day at the hotel. For the price I would recommend going out to establishments just down the street. Overall a great stay.
