Excellent location for transport, 1 minute walk into the station plus loads of convenient and varied food options. Hotel is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful, beds and sofas etc. comfortable and relaxing. The only possible downside is the pool could do with being a few degrees warmer - it's fine when you get in and get used to it...

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The Metro is close to the hotel, so that you can reach all the sights easily. It was a great stay in Paris.

Great location and stay

Chose this location for ease of getting around it is literally next door to the train station and a direct route into centre of Paris and also Disney so perfect location for us as we wanted to do both. Didn’t explore the area itself but didn’t have any issues. Hotel staff were friendly. Complimentary drinks and snacks in room, handy fridge. Nice big shower and clean bathroom. Beds were clean and comfy. Can’t complain. Didn’t use restaurant or pool so can’t comment but all looked good.

Fantastic staff! Went the extra mile. The hotel sits directly next to the train station. The metro, trains and buses were all in the same block. The breakfast buffett is well stocked and served from 7-11am.

We had such a lovely time, the staff were friendly and pleasant and very helpful. I had asked if we could leave our bags as we arrived early in Paris on the date of arrival and was offered a room as it was ready. This just made our day as we were able to freshen up and head out again. The room was a great size, bathroom spotless, the refreshments were such a nice touch and the place was so clean. The pool was lovely too.

Great stay.

Hotel staff were really helpful and friendly except the one bar/restaurant staff. Would be ideal if the hotel had a waiting area for guests. My elderly parents were waiting for our transfer to the airport and had a sandwich. I understand it’s policy for us to not consume outside food in a restaurant but we did not know/expect the entire lobby to be part of the restaurant/bar/cafe. Were promptly told to eat outside or in our rooms, so I bought a tea to stay seated and told my parents packed their sandwiches away as our transfer was still on its way. Unfortunately, me ordering to stay seated there made the staff really annoyed and became rather rude after.

Do not let the pictures fool you! This hotel is not user-friendly! Overpriced, and the pool is the only amenity. The air conditioning is a joke. The fridge is big enough to hold 4 small water bottles. The room size is small and the shower has a glass wall that is open to the rest of the room, who needs to watch their friends shower?! The beds are uncomfortable and the bedding and pillows suck. There is no ice machine in the hotel, but the staff in the bar were kind enough to fill up our ice daily. The daily buffet style breakfast was very nice. The only positive about the area is that it is close to a good metro station.

Disappointing stay

Over all quite disappointing stay: Aircondition not working properly so that we had 26C in our room. I was told that they will try to fix it but that was finally all i heard. Note: there is not even an AC in the official areas and the front desk. Pool and Breakfast room too small for the number of rooms and therefore totally overcrowded. One elevator of three was out of order during our entire stay of 6 days. Without notice the breakfast closed at 9:30 even though it closed at 10 the days before. We almost missed it. Will not visit this Hotel again as there are so much better options around. Price per nicht: 257 euro

Upon arriving in our room we noticed that it was visibly unclean, particularly the bathroom (there was other people’s body hair in the bathtub). There was construction happening outside our room (constant jackhammering) that began at 7:30am. Our room was not cleaned the first or second day of our stay. The second day of our stay we stepped into the elevator and noticed an overwhelming terrible smell. We looked down to see human feces on the floor of the elevator. At this point is was obvious that the standards of cleanliness at this hotel were unacceptable. We spoke to the managers Carla and Antoine, to let them know about these issues and to check out. We explained that we had no problem paying for the two nights we had already spent there, but we wanted to check out and be refunded for the remaining 8 nights that we prepaid for. The managers were extremely rude and unreasonable, refusing to refund us for the remaining 8 nights. The only thing they offered us was complimentary breakfast, given the disgusting condition of the hotel it is truly the last place in Paris I would eat. Our interactions with them were infuriating, they were dismissive and incredibly rude. They would still be able to rent that room out after we left, so there was no reason that they couldn’t reimburse us given the circumstances. We decided to leave and check in to an Airbnb which was lovely and clean. I will never stay at a Novotel Hotel again. Overall it was an awful experience.

The hotel didn't arrange anything to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, not even a card. The property was good, disappointed with the swimming pool that looks smaller than advertised online
