Extremely impressed with the property and location. The apartment was a good size for a few days in Paris and had all of the amenities we needed, being able to access the balcony was also a plus. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was also perfectly placed for us, with good restaurants and transport links close by.

All the staff were kind and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel was close to all the landmarks, approximately 10-30 minutes walk-time. Tons of options of cafes, restaurants, convenient stores and laundry.

Highly recommended!

Great location, warm welcome, lovely building, beautiful clean rooms, comfortable beds. Only let down was the breakfast brought to the room in a shabby-chic crate - we’d suggest going to one of the many cafe bars on the doorstep instead. Overall - would definitely recommend!

This was my first time in Paris. I made a good choice to stay at this hotel the restraunt next tithe hotel was not pricy at all. The food was really good too. Do recommend if it's your first time or 2nd time back you should stay here the view from the balcony was just amazing. Couldn't get enough I already want to go back.

The Nell was an excellent choice for us. We had a suite c/w separate bedroom, living space and kitchenette to give us a little more space for a 3 night stay. The hotel is around the corner from Rue Cadet which offers all sorts of lovely shops for bread, wine, and charcuterie for breakfast and snacks with many restaurant/cafe options nearby. The metro stations are within a few blocks as is Galeries Lafayette and Palais Garnier (Opera House). On small item - a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom's shower area would be helpful.

The hotel’s location in the 9th arrondissement is convenient and fairly walkable to many attractions. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. The sofa bed was very old and offered minimal comfort, while the main bed felt like a sheet of plywood with no cushioning, resulting in severe back and side pain and very poor rest (worthy of one star on its own). At check-in, we received an inexpensive bottle of Chardonnay as part of the so-called “VIP booking,” but this gesture did little to offset the overall shortcomings. The kitchenette included a small fridge, a stove that did not work, and a coffee maker with only two pods provided—additional ones had to be purchased. Despite booking for four guests, only three dingy towels were supplied. Many lights in the room did not work, adding to the sense of neglect. The walls were dirty, with hair stuck in multiple spots, which made it feel unclean. Noise was also a major issue: the pub/restaurant downstairs stayed open late into the night, and the adjoining room setup meant every sound from neighbors carried directly through. Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and far below expectations.

Mother and daughter trip that was perfect

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay over half term. As a platinum Hotels.com member, I received a great discount on my booking. We arrived early, and left oour luggage safely in reception and had a wander around the local area. We were asked a preference of floor, and we requested the top floor. The room was very nice, and perfect for us both. The ceilings are quite low in the living area, and the windows provided a lovely view of the Parisian rooftops. The bed was v comfy, and the kitchen area was perfect for our needs. There was a little bit of a funky smell from the bathroom drain, but the building is old so this was quickly fixed by just closing the door. The local neighbourhood is just perfect. V close to multiple Metro stations, and all the surrounding cafes, restaurants and bars were just brilliant, we were spoilt for choice. We felt very safe and looked after and will most definately return with the other 2 members of our family, and book a bigger room. Check out was easy and a taxi arrived within minutes to take us (reluctantly) back for GDN for our train home.

Good locations, walkable to many attractions (we walked to Louvre, Galaries Lafayette, Montmartre). Metro also within minutes. Groceries and restaurants within minutes. Unit has been lived in, not pristine, but comfortable. Staff helpful. Outside noise (construction, night noise)- probable will encounter in most central locations. Be prepared for fire alarms from people cooking in other units.

Expedia charged us for our rooms and so did the hotel. Pretty horrible when you get get home and notice the hotel has charged you $3000 extra for your stay. The hotel blamed Expedia and Expedia did nothing. Poor customer service all around

Great at everything but very noisy

Spent 3 nights at Residence Nell. It is a truly great place, fabulous location, friendly and efficient staff, comfortable rooms, nice decor, superb concept and design... However, if you want a quiet and dark room to sleep, look elsewhere... the hotel is on top of several restaurants and bars and the noise goes on until the early hours of the day and start again at 7 am or earlier... the windows are paper-thin and clearly do not do much and it is as if you are sleeping on the sidewalk... no black-out curtains on the room either...

Condo style hotel that was modern and in a convenient area. The well air conditioned rooms were heaven to come back to on the hot muggy days. Bathroom facilities were also beautiful and large. Our unit had a bathtub that was a bit high to step into though if you have mobility issues but they also had other units that were just walk in showers however I hear most of the bathroom floor then gets wet. So be clear on what you prefer when booking. Have the small kitchenette was perfect for snacks and breakfast. Enjoyed my most walks to gather croissants and fruit from the numerous nearby cafes and small markets. There is also a fromagerie across the street that we frequented almost every day to sample a new cheese to bring back to the unit. Overall a perfect place for families. Convenient to walk to numerous metro stations and attractions like Montmartre and Palais Garnier were about a 15 min -20 min leisurely walk.

Didn’t have the standard of what I expected from a boutique hotel. Coffee, tea and water supplies not topped up daily. Curtains not blackout. Walls thin. Not enough self catering facilities. Old dirty sponge left to wash dishes. Trash bins too small to put much in. Only 1 half length mirror in whole apartment for 4 people. Not full length mirror at all in bedroom. Wet room bathroom did not work as had to past wet floor to use the loo. Bed was too soft. Bed sheets high quality though. Location convenient but did not sleep at all as it was too noisy with drunks and wash disposal trucks waking us all up at 6am.
