"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

"The external decoration and upkeep needs serious attention, although the rooms were basic and old fashioned they were clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and informative. The stay included free parking and well presented breakfast with some decent coffee. I paid £55.00; the price in comparison with Travelodge and Days Inn which I booked in the same week which were £33.00 and £43.00 I thought the price for Beacon Hotel could have been slightly lower around the £35.00 including the vat."
