I stayed at Le Meridien Thimphu since it first opened and this is my 4th time at the same hotel.
I returned as I was always impressed with its service, food, location and its ambience. I requested for a room to be bright and nearer elevator which was granted.
However, this time I was a little disappointed with some minor issues ... the service was a little lacking in terms of replenishing the toiletries and the food is not as good as before. The bathroom needs a little sprucing up. ...

Warm welcome to us. Clean and bright. Modern looking. Felt at ease and comfortable.
The housekeeping staff was attentive. The bathroom lock was faulty but we didn't report. We are surprised to see the lock replaced the evening we returned.

We had a fantastic stay at Phuntsho Khangsar. It was a lovely spacious room with a beautiful location overlooking Thimpu City. We had the view of the famous Buddha statue straight from our balcony. The highlight of the place was the staff who were very warm and offered excellent service. Mr Tshering the Operations Manager was always ready to help. In fact the owner Mr Namgay was also great at conversation.
Also the property is located slightly away from the main city centre yet getting cabs in...
