"This venue is truly a family home. The family lives in and runs the Villa. They were lovely hosts. The villa itself is a historic home and the family offered us the chance to read about its history, which made our stay even more memorable. If I am ever in this area again, it would be a place I would gladly return to."

"A rustic property in the quaint village of Longpont, this hotel felt a little like one of those “Restaurants with rooms” concepts that are springing up now, in that everything revolves around the restaurant, more or less. "When we arrived we received heartfelt apologies that the heating was not working (and autumn chill had just set in). There was however an open fire in the dining room. The meal was acceptable, but not outstanding. I don't know if we were suffering from an end of season situation. There was no offer of any reduction from our bill as a measure of good will."

"The hotel is very good for an overnight stop when travelling by car in France. It has everything you need for such a stopover. The room is and bed are comfortable. It was very quiet in the room so it was possible to have a good night sleep. The breakfast is basic but was adequate for us. There are restaurants within walking distance for an evening meal."
